Why do you think Tennessee did a better job? I'm not saying they didn't but I do know the state has low testing scores.
We don't need to rush to election concessions everytime a hurricane hits Florida in September of an election year especially for the areas not directly hit. That's ridiculous. And I disagree with you.
There were areas of Orange County that did just fine, and there were other areas like Orlo Vista and downtown Orlando that got 3-5 feet of flooding, trashing homes and vehicles.

Because the concessions aren't about losing your house. It's about losing precinct sites. If those sites are largely unaffected, hardship to vote does not exist like it does with a direct hit area. Then why give concessions at all?
You didn’t have to take a direct hit from Hurricane Ian to lose your house and possessions. That’s been clearly documented.
Your take is no less ridiculous.
His presidential run is inconsequential to this election. The idea that we may have a special election in two years being worse than voting for a guy who is in contradiction with most ideals of another is silly. "Well I might have to vote for gov in two years again so I'll vote for a guy I disagree with" isn't a winning message.Desantis needed an answer for the potential presidential run and Crist needs a better platform if that is his message today. That he got Desantis to not say yes, he would be there for his term.
Agree, but he knew this question would be raised and a quick hit answer would have squashed any chance for a Crist soundbite. His presidential run is inconsequential to this election. They agreed to not ask questions to each other before the debate. Crist went against that. I'm not sure there is a quick way without a sound bite to squash that. Moderator would have cut him off. That's my take with that being a point in general. Not specific to desantis.
Where it hurts DeSantis is with those on the fence.
There aren't any of those folks voting. DeSantis has mobilized the anti-woke crowd and ginned them up to be a platform for his POTUS run. Crist is weaksauce that has ZERO respect from any significant base or group. Every Dem I know is shaking their heads that this was the best we could come up with. Its very disheartening. DeSantis will win by double digits, in a cakewalk.
How has Desantis been bad for Florida?
