Running up the score on UT Martin may have had something to do with the fact that we wanted Ty Simpson. However, Basilio did some digging and heard that it was because at one point in the recruiting process Coach Simpson said, “I can’t believe that guy got the job” referring to UT hiring Heupel. Word got back to Heupel so I guess CJH wanted to show him a thing or two.
His son must be really bad that Milroe got the 2nd string nod. Milroe could not throw it in the ocean or hang on to the ball. Ty will end up back playing for his dad.

Don't lecture me for this...I already know what you will say...but...Milton's performance Saturday put the brakes on my expectations, it looked to me like he is still lagging on processing...sometimes badly.

I had hoped, and from what we had seen in other games I had thought that they had coached most of that that out of him.
That’s true but the great thing is Tennessee has alot of talent in that Quarterback room next year and plenty of options. It’ll be a great battle to watch

Unless something has changed, I think we get Vysen Lang. Flipping Ramil would be nice. Really hope Hobbs doesn't fall prey to that Bama draw.
Forgot about him. I think they would take both. Just pointing out that we don’t have many spots left as we will be portal shopping hard.

I could see 42, but more realistically I'm thinking 35 or 38.

I could see them scoring a last minute garbage time TD to close the gap..

35-24/28 (after a late punch) but if we're pressuring Levis and their offense can't generate any drives it could be far more ugly and fast too.

worst case I see it as us scoring 35 or 38 and them in the low 20s....best case we could hang 50 on them and they are stuck in neutral trying to get to 20.

Hopefully the other players in the WR room were paying attention. Someone's got to be next when Hyatt goes early in the draft.

I just hope a lot of these younger WRs stay put.

Tillman, Hyatt, Velus, all great examples of being patient and being rewarded for their hard work. WR is a position that you just need to have one really impressive season to get drafted, so if you've gotta wait until you're a junior or senior to start it doesn't hurt your draft stock.

I really just want Tillman to have a great run to end the season so he can get over 1k yards and be a first day draft pick. Still pissed dirty ass Akron is where he got injured in a meaningless game.
