Okay, I am still in the past. I want to skip ahead, but the posts are too awesome for me to do that!

Another week another victory. I like that the coaches played so many against UTM. I like that they gave some hints of plays that our future opponents now have to game plan for as well. Princeton Fant with a bomb after a backwards pass from Joe Milton. For a TD to Jalin Hyatt. That’s a nod to the DCs that even our nonQB players can wing it. 😎

How many of y’all had the foresight of 7 games into the season that our Tennessee Volunteers were going to be 7-0 😎 Be honest 😁

Anyone still doubt?

Now the kentucky wildcats will know that the Bell Tolls For Thee. 😈 The RB will have his worst game of the year. The pressure will be overwhelming for the uk qb to have his best game ever. It he doesn’t, it will be a runaway scoring fest by the Tennessee Volunteers. If he has a personal best day, deep down inside, he knows that it still won’t be enough and his team will lose. It must be awful going into game prep with this knowledge.😡 Even if he is oblivious to the fact that he has no chance. He isn’t AR (gator) nor is he BY (bama), He isn’t mobile. He will be chased relentlessly by our entire defensive front 7. With cameo appearances by safeties and defensive backs just for fun.
Game prep for our Vols this week with be strong work with more fun planned for Saturday. Sit back, relax and enjoy the future one game at a time! Banish the BVS. Don’t look ahead, just focus on kentucky.

McElroy was saying it the other day

He said “ I can’t talk football with people who keep comparing Miss St and Tenn offenses” they are nothing alike. One is just quick hitter short passes and a classic air raid.The other is the Baylor offense with its own little twist. It’s a big time vertical attack and run heavy between the tackles. One is slow pace, the other is warp speed. And that’s the beginning of their differences. I could keep going. And honestly Heup is putting a lot more layers to it. Using a ton of formations, motions and really using a lot of stuff from the Chiefs playbook.

So when you hear ppl compare them like they are similar you automatically know that person does not know football at all.

I had an old school Kentucky fan (74) tell me this morning at church he just doesn’t want it to be a blow out. Told him, “Vols by fiddy.”

ESPN really doesn’t impact me or anyone else I know as some kind of indoctrination sports news source. No one cares. I have a “cool story bro” scenario, a couple of weeks ago I went to Disney with the fam and wore my Tennessee hat all around the parks and Orlando. I got more recognition and “ “Go Vols” than even I expected. It wasn’t just that—there a near universal hatred of Alabama (this was prior to the game) again I knew their was a hatred of Alabama but I didn’t even anticipate how far reaching it went. In general, people are sick of Alabama as a football program and force in the SEC.

Kelly? That's not what he said. He said LSU as a team was closer to where they wanted to be than the score indicated. He said they scored fewer points because of the 4th down tries. He said they could have played to try to keep the score close (and lose) by kicking on 4th downs. Or they could pull out all the stops and try to win against a great team. They pulled out all the stops and the score reflected it.

I was a point that was actually complimentary to UT.

If we did lose to GA can we just represent the west and get a rematch? I mean, we’ve proved we’re better than anything they can offer.

Yeah, I mean just look at the raw talent (and obviously that isn't everything, but a huge factor in SoS and pretty consistent over the years)...

Their best opponent so far is 9th in Team Talent Composite (OU), which is still behind 2 of our opponents (Bama and LSU).

Their 2nd most talented opponent is...Okie St at 40th!!! That's 9 spots behind Mizzou and would be 2nd worst in the SEC 🤣🤣🤣

Oh and Kansas St and Kansas are in the SEVENTIES...JUST BELOW FAU 🤣🤣🤣 Then there's 1-6 Colorado...63rd...1 spot behind Vandy 😅🤣🤣
