I will say a win at Death Valley at night would have probably launched Hooker to top 1 or 2 for the Heisman.
CJ Stroud and Hendon Hooker will be two to watch. Hendon will clearly play better competition, but he'll have to keep having statement games and we'll likely need to upset Georgia or Alabama.

I was excited to see the rock Saturday but when I walked by at 11am it was painted up with an advertisement for a Keith urban concert. I understand that anyone can paint the rock but for heaven sake can you wait til after the biggest game of the year to do your ad?

So dumb. The short clip of the rock I saw looked really good. It needs to be guarded until after the game is over.

I wanted a night game in Baton Rouge just for the experience, but it will be better for the team to play at 11am. I will just go down there Friday night now and save my drinking for my Saturday night celebration after the win.
Just drive to New Orleans after the game. You could be there by around 5pm.

Wow! That is really bad. I think its time for Bob to move on. He actually used to get excited right after he took over for John Ward.
Bob is atrocious. With Ward's calls you could visualize what was happening on the field. Bob is so bland. "Hooker to the 40-45-50-45-40 and tackled". No description of which way the play was or how many tackles he broke. I had heard, and I'm not sure how true it was, that Mike Keith was interested in the job and we went with Bob. If so that's a HUGE miss. I love Mike Keith, one of the best imo. Maybe I'm biased as a Titans fan but would love to hear him call a Vols game. So much energy and enthusiasm.

I saw someone asking about why we don't run slants. We actually do run plenty. Heupel utilizes such wide splits that our smash route turns into a slant in this offense depending on the down and distance and the DB alignment. The design of that option route is genius in that it can be used to pick up short yardage and turn into a big gain if there are missed tackles. If the WR chooses to extend the route across the hash(our version of the slant), it turns into a free running WR catching the ball in stride with the defender trailing, with no help. That turns into a big gain more times than not. Fant's catch and fumble was the smash version, Hyatt had his big gain on our version of the slant off of the WR option. You will also see Tillman and Bru run off of the same route, drive hard across the hash from their wide split position and simply post up to get tough yards when teams load the box on short yardage downs. One route, 3 uses. Our route tree is just fine and plenty sophisticated.

This is what I was talking about with Bob the other day. This call is horrific. No excitement what so ever.

Danny White has shown that he listens to the fans... Now I'm not saying that he will, as it pertains to someone's job and livelihood; but, if we keep letting it be known, and keep getting louder and louder that it's time for a change...maybe...

Kesling has plenty of $. He could retire yesterday and not worry about a thing for the rest of his life.

I think he probably already knew the ball was going to the tight end.

If the fumbling, cannot execute a block on the goal-line tight end had just taken the additional step to drive his route past the sticks before cutting to the sideline it would have been a non-issue.

Why would you ever break off a 2 yd route on 4th and 3 as a TE?

I wonder if this Deion to GT thing really does have legs. I see a lot of CFB media people that I trust talking about it like it's a serious discussion.

Part of me wants to see it because Feldman is right, no one wants to recruit against him in Atlanta INCLUDING Georgia. Will we also lose out on some recruits? Most likely, yes, but addition by Georgias subtraction maybe? 😂

Seriously though, couple good things that come out of that if he does go there (I still don’t think he will):

- He WILL win some battles against UGA for top
Georgia players.
- If he makes that team good then that’s another team to help put Clemson back to where they should be… not the top of the ACC

We're upgrading the athletic department everywhere. Why keep a butch Jones level radio guy?
I understand the Bob is lacking. For those who would like to see him retire, would you honestly turn off the volume of your TV and listen to the TVN with his replacement? With a 7 second delay, it's incredibly agitating for me to listen to the call and it not remotely sync up with what I'm watching.

Back when we were young, we listened to JW a lot because only half our games were Televised. I guess my point is, I know it sounds nostalgic to turn the volume down and turn on TVN but it's not practical. With every game televised now, the only time I would listen is if I were not able to watch a game in person or on TV. Given my love for TN, to deviate from either two options would have to be a major life event.

I also don't see them going out and breaking the bank for anyone that most would consider an upgrade.

I could see Deion Lane Kiffin'ing that program. He's on a war path to FSU. FSU is doing alright this year, but I don't know how long Norvell will be able to keep that job.

It’s pretty easy now, with advancing technology, to sync the game and the audio.
