I'm worried more about the players getting caught up in all the pagentry than Heupel being distracted. If ESPN wanted to show up for any other game on the Vols schedule, I could care less. You just know they (ESPN) only want to be here to show their fannies.Dude. If our head coach is worried about Gameday being in town for this game, then we picked the wrong guy. Heupel and Co couldn't care less about all that, except for a little pub for recruiting. Them being there means nothing to the team. It’s all about fans. Nothing more. Now Botch Jones would be worried about this, but not Heupel.
Because some people are moronsI'll never understand why so many people actively do not want College GameDay in Knoxville. You simply cannot convince me that there isn't a net positive in exposure, dwindling viewership of the show and all, stemming from having the crew on campus in front of Neyland.
ESPN is the enemy and mostly because of fowlers trailer park commentI'll never understand why so many people actively do not want College GameDay in Knoxville. Since when is John Cena, Keith Urban, Vol fans? I don't even see the connection. Tarentino or Samuel L would be awesome.Wut?

And that doesn't even scratch the surface, because there is a LONG list of famous pro football and basketball players who love Tennessee and the Vols (Witten, Berry, Wilson, Schofield, Parker, etc), nor the even longer list of country music artists who are equally rabid for our lads. I included Peyton and Chesney in the photo montage to represent all those others.
No shortage of famous Vols fans.
Go Vols!
I'm glad for anything that helps or recognizes Tennessee, but I genuinely dislike what College Gameday has become.
