I'd like to pick your mind @VolsDoc81TX as well.

My buddy that was in the hospital for 5 months to start 2022 is now clear of all the COVID and related issues. But he's in the rehabilitation phase and his insurance basically cut 'em free with just a twice a week in house visit where the PT does little to nothing apparently.

Specifically his got nerve issues in his left leg. Knee won't quite straighten out and he can't really feel his foot or ankle much. I've been trying to suggest things to him, but obviously no medical background. Anything you'd say he should work on that he can do at home?

I thought it when it happened live, and haven't seen anything to change my mind. On Pitt's last play, if that one-legged backup QB would have been able to hit the receiver in stride, I think he walks into the endzone. Flowers and McCullough may have been able to stop him short, but it would have been really close. Hadden runs right by the intended receiver to cover the slot receiver running a crossing route.

Pass defense is shaky. Thankfully Richardson looks capable of having really bad games.
One thing about the last play. Just me or were the DBs a few feet into the end zone? It almost looked like if that had been a good throw and caught in stride...it would have been very close at the goalline.

I put recruiting limitations on myself. Only recruit OL from Tennessee. I take all the blue-chips from Tennessee opposed to better players in states we don't typically recruit out of. That means I don't go after the RB from Idaho that runs a 4.32.

I try to recruit as regionally as I can and only bother with recruits that I'm a top 5 program for. I try to stay away from only recruiting DT QB's as they always feel too overpowered.

I don't redshirt players. If a player blows up after their 3rd year but doesn't declare like they realistically would I cut them. I cut players that would normally transfer but don't. Otherwise I'm left with the 85 bears on an annual basis which isn't fun.

As far as gameplay I typically sim defense, as defense is too easy and time consuming. They'll score on the CPU which makes the games closer.

I need to immediately adopt simulating defense. Gets a little old when my DE sweeps the defensive POY awards regardless of their game rating

I actually think it's the OL more than the rushers to blame. Wright not having contact most the off-season though is a big reason he's had the fumbling issues. I expect after another game or two he'll be past that.

I'd say we'll have a bit more focus/success getting it going Saturday.
Why is Wright having more success than Small?

Man I bet Tillman is beyond humbled towards Coach Hype the man single handily saved his career.I guess somehow they both benefited each other the universe aligned at the rite time.I mean just think if Pruitt had been retained Tillman would be thought of as a UDFA or maybe a 6th 7th rd flier guy just based on measurables. He was a 2nd rd guy last year no way if he keeps this up he isn't a 1st rd pick.Bru and Tillman both are men among boys out there.

Ask away. Catching up as quickly as I can…
Wanted your opinion on nerves healing? Still have some slight pain between shoulder blade and spine. Worried more about elbow pain in my left arm. Had a pinched nerve and did physical therapy, chiropractor, 2 different ortho docs and ended up with degenerative disc that was causing pain between left shoulder blade and spine. Went from pain to numbness through forearm. Doc says nerves take quite some time to regenerate but he expects a full recovery. Had total disc replacement on C-5 C-6 but no fusing. Going through physical therapy twice a week now and am ahead of schedule an doing well. @VolsDoc81TX

Won 10 games 2x in the last 5 seasons. Before that, the last time they won 10 was 1977. So he’s gonna get a lot of love. He’s made UK a team you can’t just chalk up a W on the schedule.

Also it’s great for UT. Hype up Stoops and then Vols win and we look even better.
I mean if just finishing the race is ur ultimate goal then yea he's accomplished that. Now if ur a trying to be a winner and take home any type of championship then he's failed miserably. All depends on what each fanbase, coach, players consider a success...

Why is Wright having more success than Small?

I've always though Small runs his best when he stays north and south. He doesn't have the quickness or acceleration to really bounce outside, but so far he seems to be trying to do it more often.

Wright however does have the quickness to do it, he's also put in a lot of work changing his body this past off-season. I think because he was no-contact so much it allowed him to have fresher legs as well here at the beginning of the season. But overall he just seems to have some very good natural RB ability that Small doesn't seem to have.

So I guess I'd say Wright is more decisive in his running and I think he's got better vision, so he's making better reads on which holes to hit and when compared to Small. And as a RB getting through the LOS quickly and without getting touched is the difference in a 2 or 3 yard run and a 6 or 8 yard one. Both in the open field are great runners though, Wright just seems better at getting through the LOS.

Well he’s at Kentucky so I’d say 10 win seasons are basically championships for them
