Just think...Kaleb Perry is sitting there soaking up all the things he can from Beasley right now. And he is going to be an even better ILB when his time comes because of it.

I'm pretty excited for the direction the defense is heading...I don't think Banks stays around too much longer as our DC though (hopefully he's offered a HC job) but I'm hopeful they elevate BJM and keep the core positional guys there. At this point you have 3 guys on staff (RG, Willie, Ekeler) that you know are more than happy to stay put doing what they're doing. Banks' name floated for HC jobs already and BJM will for sure be a name circulating for DC jobs in the future...so hopefully timing works out so we can keep him here to be our next DC when Banks takes a HC job.

Shane Beamer reminds me of someone who may have grown up entitled due to a rich/famous/adored parent, and yet has an inferiority complex due to same rich/famous/adored parent. But that's just a shot in the dark.

I think that's part of it combined with Imposter Syndrome. Lacking self confidence, always defensive and over reactive.

Tipping passes isn’t the same as being able to cover the pass. I’m talking about the ability to cover slants and TEs in passing game and intermediate crossing routes. Before Slovis got hurt they were killing us in those phases for the most part

Dude. You act like you know a lot and then ignore some pretty simple things that guys are asked to do. LB's are often asked to fill passing lanes without actually covering a receiver. Banks did his job which is why he tipped those passes. What SPECIFIC group of plays are you talking about where the LBs and particularly Banks were OBVIOUSLY assigned to play man coverage... and busted? Which specific plays are you talking about where they were in zone and Banks busted an assignment?

Just give me a link to your video and the time.

There are problems on this D. Hadden is good but inexperienced. Charles is probably better suited to safety but is playing CB. Burrell is an enigma- a guy who seems to have the physical ability and knowledge but just can't apply it. UT could use more depth at LB. But Banks and Beasley are NOT problems in pass D or run D.

I saw it happen with Florida in the late 00s. When I moved to Murfreesboro in 2007, there was Gators stuff everywhere. By 2010 it was gone and replaced with Bama gear.

I just happened to see Michigan’s schedule. Their first six games of the year are as follows:

Colorado State
Hawaii
UConn
Maryland
Iowa
Indiana

Their first game they’ll even break a sweat in is Penn State on 10/15. By then, we’ve played Pitt, Florida, LSU, and Bama.

Is there any question we would be 6-0 against that opening schedule? And we’re still a recovering program that’s technically under NCAA sanctions.

Ppl will laugh, but we LOVE the smoked sausages at Fannie Farkles Arcade on the strip. The family calls them “Fannie Farkles’ Funtime Franks” We enjoy them at lunch while walking the strip.
