I am but I am no longer in athletics. Couldn’t handle the grind anymore.

I’ve worked in college athletics for a D2 school and in minor league baseball. The grind from working in sports keeps you from enjoying other sports. I switched to a M-F job several years ago, and I have zero regrets.

Good win ready to see the seniors in the defensive backfield graduate or sit on the bench
Oline needs to step up
Number 4 on offense missed a big catch in the end zone but had a good game
Hooker missed throws early
Should’ve won by more but a win is a win no matter how ugly
L + Ratio, idiot. Thanks for your analysis.

That Wright fumble today, anyone else think if the roles were reversed, forward progress would have been called? No fumble? I swear that was my first thought. I mean, it was a fumble, I'm just saying whenever crap like that happens for us, they make some BS call like forward progress had been stopped.
I still don’t understand this rule. When tf is a play like that dead? Cause I heard multiple times tonight that “the whistle doesn’t matter.”

Serious question. Are our secondary problems the result of personnel, or are they the result of the coverages being called? I know everyone loves to point out Burrell. But is he really that bad, or are our coaches calling bad coverages? It just seems like we're giving so much cushion to receivers. I'm starting to think it's more the coverages being called than it is the DBs.

Not to burst your bubble, but Pitt and WVU is a 105 year old, extremely bitter rivalry, that had not been played in 11 years...of course it was going to be close. So, there's that.
Yep it’s called the Backyard Brawl.
My concern is that WVU , who is always strong at home, lost to one of the worst Power Five teams in the country. And yes I know that KU won at Texas last year.

Why on Earth would you worry about a transitive loss? JT Daniels played his butt off and kept WVU in that game against Pitt. They got up for a rivalry game and nearly pulled it off but WVU was always hitting above their weight class in that game. Them losing out or winning out has no real bearing on Pitt and certainly doesn't translate to their game against us.

It means jack squat. Every game is different. Players get on a hot streak or go on a cold streak. Certain teams match up better against other teams. You can't compare like that. Bama struggled with an unranked Texas. You think that forecasts how they're going to play the rest of the year?

Burrell is really that bad. He always has been.

The TD in the endzone they had on us to tie the game Burrell was committing Pass Interference and still let the receiver catch the ball lol. Burrell is not a good CB and needs to be replaced.

The Flowers interception in the endzone…. Burrell called for holding and the play wasn’t even to his side of the field.

I told my buddy watching the game with me that if I was going to try and score to tie the game I would throw at #4 and what did they do?

Sometimes you just don't know what version of a team is going to show up.

Like my BVS tells me that the Richardson Heisman campaign will be back in full swing in 2 weeks.

However, we did prove against Pitt that we can fight through some adversity and still win. It's hard to watch because we don't seem to win our share of these, and just about every insecurity I have about our team was on display yesterday.

2-0 feels good to say though. 3-0 would be our best start since 2016. I should probably double check who we are playing and if they are a sun belt team...
