They had damn Lt Dan out there tossing the tater on BurrellHow many of you just knew that a crippled 2nd string QB or a 3rd stringer no one has ever heard of was going to pair up with that unknown RB and break our hearts?

The hype is ridiculous for AR-15. Why I am rooting for UK. That and I can never root for FL."It's easy to play quarterback when everything is going right. It's a lot harder when you don't have your best stuff." - McElroy
Context: AR15 is crumbling and making huge mistakes. Threw the Pick-6 and now wildly off target.
Compare that to what Hendon did today. Started poorly. Was off target. Didn't play his best. Pitt capitalized and ran out to an early lead.
All he did was lead the comeback and make the plays we needed for the win. Even when he didn't have his best stuff - he found a way. AR15 hasn't shown the ability to do that. Levis hasn't. Only Bennett, Young, Hooker, and maybe Jefferson have done this.
Freaking Daddy Till man. Can't forget him. Even with some drops and missed opportunities, completely took over the game. They could not guard him. Simply couldn't do it.Some thoughts:
Pass rush was there at times. Most the time even. Some absolutely brutal QB hits that ultimately won the game.
Defensive backfield doesn't inspire confidence.
It's pretty clear Banks is simply not going to watch the QB sit in the pocket and complete passes if we aren't getting pressure with four. Blitzed all night.
Overall, defense is better all around. Are they going to be mistaken for the UGA defense? No. But improved.
Offense was just extremely frustrating and inconsistent.
Bru is better than Javonta was last year, but it is painfully obvious there is not a Velus Jones to be found on this team.
We don't have a star running back. Unless the freshmen prove themselves. That's two bad fumbles for Wright. Hold onto the damn ball.
Hendon. As good as he's been, he has about 5 inexplicably bad passes a game and he may have had more tonight. He's never been the guy to escape pass rush. Never seems to want to leave the pocket. Will never be mistaken for Dobbs in that regard.
Ekeler needs to figure some **** out on ST. Flowers is not a dynamic player at PR. I can live with it if he never drops the ball. But if he can't, put someone in there who is dynamic.
Brooks was moving in slow motion on his punts. Not sure what the problem is. Whether it's protection or his timing was off. But they legitimately almost blocked 3 punts and got one.
Milton should start next week to see what he's got... Can't be any worse after tonight's performance at QB.
Over dozen high, underthrown or overthrown balls (3 of which were to be easy in stride TD's), ZERO pocket awareness taking multiple sacks as a mobile/running QB... A complete off season to improve... which he hasn't shown so far. Very underwhelming and disappointing at this point.
The sloppiness and undisciplined nature of this game on every side of the ball including special teams reminds me of a Dooley team. SEC teams are licking their chops, anticipating blowing us out...
It is what it is... no way we can make that many improvements and adjustments in one game/two weeks before FL... they will embarrass us at this point. AT HOME.
