Take away the 76 yd TD run, and Abanikanda has 78 yds on 24 carries; and, Pitt rushes for around 65 yds as a team. Defense truly ate today. Outright violent assaults on their QBs.Yeah he, Byron Young, Beasley, Hadden, McDonald, Banks and even Burrell at times had good games.
You can tell these guys are being well coached and developed.
JMO, but I think some of it is knowing when to keep pushing and when to just go down. Today's fumble, he was stopped. He should have went down before they could punch it out. I think he fixes it. He's put in some work, and I think he'll continue to put in that work.I like Jaylen Wright... think he has looked good so far, except for the fumbles, of course. He gets that under control, and he could have a big year. He averaged over 5 yards a carry today, and is averaging over 6 yards a carry so far on the season; but, can't keep giving him the ball, if he can't hold onto it.
