The fact is...when we execute those plays, when the QB hits those throws and the recievers make the catch they are supposed to make...this offense is really really hard to contain.

I said before the game that Hooker having an off game would keep it close. I figured Narduzzi would go all in on stopping the run, and gamble on the passing game being out of sync.
Yep, he alluded as much during his pressers throughout the week. Criticized Hooker saying how they intercepted him and turned him over in previous games they’ve played against him, etc. I don’t think he anticipated our defense being as improved as it was once they settled in.

That TD in OT sure is sweet

Milton should start next week to see what he's got... Can't be any worse after tonight's performance at QB.

Over dozen high, underthrown or overthrown balls (3 of which were to be easy in stride TD's), ZERO pocket awareness taking multiple sacks as a mobile/running QB... A complete off season to improve... which he hasn't shown so far. Very underwhelming and disappointing at this point.

The sloppiness and undisciplined nature of this game on every side of the ball including special teams reminds me of a Dooley team. SEC teams are licking their chops, anticipating blowing us out...

It is what it is... no way we can make that many improvements and adjustments in one game/two weeks before FL... they will embarrass us at this point. AT HOME.

CBS Sports projecting us to #16 in the poll. I don't understand how they rank AL over TX, since TX won. (Edit: They have FL above us at #13.)
SMDH. We won in a close game to a team that was ranked higher than us. Yes, I hated the nail biter. Fl lost to KY. Let that sink in.... Everyone knew our game would be a close one, but Florida? Sigh,

Peay 41
Ms Valley St 0

Quarterback Mike DiLiello threw for 307 yards and five touchdowns in the first half as Austin Peay State University's football team opened up a 41-0 halftime lead en route to a 41-0 nonconference victory against Mississippi Valley State, Saturday, at Fortera Stadium.

After a 188-yard first quarter, Austin Peay found a different gear in the second frame, amassing 220 yards as they scored on all four drives.

DiLiello played three quarters and completed 25-of-33 passes for 383 yards and five touchdowns. Dre’ McCray caught 10 of those passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns with three other Govs receivers ending the night with a touchdown reception.

Also regardless of what the future holds is Heupel the first real person we have had at HC in forever? No nonsense, takes accountability for mistakes, makes no excuses, just happy to see Tennessee do well.

Truly a good, humble dude and he’s doing a great job. Seems easy to play for and work for.

Last post… WHO TF is scheduling App St….? They are straight dogs! What a program they have even after they made the jump up! Yeah yeah A&M is probably overrated with that QB play but they SHOULD be 2-0 against power 5 teams. They ain’t afraid and they definitely bring it every single game! Love it!

Competitive as in trying to see who can look the worst?
He tried to say that after Bama and Georgia the rest of the conference wasn't that great. I mean, yeah, we have Vandy and Mizzou, but the rest of the teams are generally somewhat competitive. We would own the Big 12.
