Oregon is the armpit of the Pacific Northwest. If BB ends up there I hope he likes the anarchists in Eugene and the skin heads in Grants Pass. That's why my stint in OR was only six years wheat! Biggest racist state I've ever lived in. Oh and rain eight months out of the year. Enjoy.

I know the recruiting process can be overwealming, even for "very good" HS Seniors. For Superstars it must be maddening! Here's a thought as you make your decision.
You will be successful no matter which college you select. The criteria is yours. whether you are looking for academics, a pro-type offense, climate, tradition, exposure, friends, family, etc., you are the only one qualified to chose what's best for Bryce. No one will be showing up for you. You will have to live with your decision.
Take your time & consider the words of William Shakespeare, from the play Hamlet. In the play, the bard has Palonius giving advice to his son Laertes before he goes on a journey abroad, thusly:

"This above all: To thine own self be true, and it must follow as the night, the day, thou canst not then be false to any man."

So, the choice is yours. I made mine years ago, and have been a Cane since 1965.
Your decision counts!
All the best, Bryce.

Isn't it funny how an 18 year old kid can keep us on the edge of our seats for this long. Every time you turn around there is another school in the mix. I hope he comes here and all but I've about given up on all the drama. I guess this is going to become a yearly thing now. 1 or 2 big time recruits dragging it out as long as they are getting the press.............

Im am feeling very confident now about BB.

I don't understand how you can be so confident about this kid when: we don't know for sure that Chaney & Butler are old buddy's, and we haven't heard anything about his trip to LSU. Not trying to be a pessimist, but you guys have me convinced he's going to be running through the T. I don't think I could take it if I was let down like that.

orrrr maybe he is trying to take as much time as he needs to make one of the bigger decisions in his life....

I understand that also. But it's not like the process started 2 months ago. Most of these big time recruits have been looking at schools for several years now.

I know it's been said, but it bears repeating. Crabtree just said earlier on Rivals radio that Mr. Brown really likes what TN has to offer his son, such as playing style, running back tradition.

What is to keep UT from hiring Butler as Director of High School Player Relations? We have a director of everything else over there.
