I’m pretty sure that is not true and left when he didn’t get the start. But you can see his talent and OSU is loaded with NFL talent at QB. We are not once Hendon leaves. Let Nico play day one and he will own the SEC as a sophomore.

He played in one game and didn't throw a single pass. He isn't even listed on the OSU team stats for 2021.

I'm not debating his talent, just pointing out that even the best QBs generally do better after they've had a year or two to grow into it.

I looked, since Pruitt left they were
13th - 19th range and worse every year. Kirby-Pruitt years they weren’t outside of top 3 IIRC. Multiple years at #1 scoring defense including 16’ and 17’ then the dropoff began
