War in Ukraine

This is an English translation of a Russian milblogger. He espouses the doctrine of Russian war that attacks on hospitals and the wounded are fair game.

"Today, the RF Armed Forces are inflicting massive strikes on Kharkov , withdrawing congestion sites and basing areas of various formations one after another. For a long time the regional center has not been bombed so powerfully.

And yes, they also covered the hospital, where many wounded of the Armed Forces of Ukraine accumulated, rushing to Balakliya , Izyum and Kupyansk . The hit is extremely effective.

Once again, we want to express a timid hope: we hope that a fundamental decision has been made to stop playing war and engage in the complete destruction of the enemy without moral and spiritual anguish."

This dude needs a NATO sponsored cruise missile up his ass.

Total sq. kms retaken by Ukraine reportedly increased from 1000 to 1600. In one day.

Already in Izyum.

Russia seems to be folding in the North.

Update: 2,500+ kms freed.

Interesting.....There are two possibilities here. 1) Russia know that it is in a vulnerable position and is trying to get as many troops and as much equipment across the rivers as possible before they abandon their positions all together in this area or become cut off if they linger too long and the Ukrainian offensive continues to succeed. 2) The Russians are trying to set a trap and unleash a counterattack on some over extended Ukrainian units. They are moving backwards awfully fast for that though I think.

I've been reading back a couple years on various social media trying to gauge what the mindset has been and its ****in ugly. Russia has never done anything wrong. All of western Europe is nazi. Communism is Germany's fault. the soviet union was a reaction to german agression. Churchill and Stalin peacefully divided up Europe..the czech republic wasn't brutally repressed, they deserved it for helping nazis..there never were any baltic states prior to 1900, latvia is worse than nazi Germany...nowhere in Europe is free but russia... every single rejection of Russian rule in history was staged by the CIA...

the indoctrination is staggering and its incredible that almost everybody was blind to what Putin has been brewing
A large portion of the Russian population has this weird fictionalized belief system that essentially makes Russia out to be some sort of quasi Nazi-Scientology-Master Race thing. They think Russian is a race, and the top one. They think, like you mentioned, that WW2 was Russia reacting and ALWAYS gloss over the fact they were Hitlers allies during the early part of the war. They believe things like humans originated out of Russia, all major historical figures were actually Russian, NATO and the US is itching to take them over (lol no one cares about them). Its a constant deluge of nutbaggery.

What us sane people see is a country whose false identity has been forged out of centuries of failure and embarrassment and who missed the bus to be part of the West and is full of jealous rage. Russia is like a mildly retarded teenager from a trailer park suffering from acromegaly. They are big, they are kind of strong, but they are clumsy and not smart. They can't figure out why the cool kids won't hang out with them so they essentially mingle with worse, much weaker versions of themselves at the trailer park down the street where the trailers sit on blocks.

This would make sense if they werent abandoning tons and tons of their equipment.

Yeah video after video of captured and blown up equipment does seem to point to a rout and not a tactical retreat at this point. But I guess we’re gonna have to wait a bit more for the dust to clear to her the full picture. But there is reason to hope.

One of our Russian trolls should be able to give us the most accurate description of what Russia is doing once Russia figures out what they are doing. I'm sure its all "tactical".

In a fight between a country of 8 million and a country of 30,000, who wins? The answer- Texas. The Republic of Texas, heavily influenced by Tennessee, had about 4,000 adult males of fighting age in 1835. By early 1836, after the Alamo and Goliad, they lost almost 15% of that number. Houston fielded an army of 900 and literally destroyed Santa Ana at San Jacinto. He used similar tactics and strategies as the Ukrainians. It is not the dog in the fight, but the fight in the dog.

”Influenced by Tennessee”? Try saved.

Most of what I'm reading suggests the former. Rumored that Russians bolted out of Izyum to avoid being surrounded and left significant amounts of armor behind.

Losing Kupiansk was a death knell for Izyum. Losing Izyum will reduce supplies and support for western Donbas.

Not seeing much in the way of reinforcements yet. Of course, Russia moved its crack troops from Donbas to Kherson in the past month, so their heavy equipment, at least, is stuck there.

Russia can take Kharkiv anytime it wants it.

Noice. Here's another recent gem from @volgr:

Get real, buddy. There has been nothing BUT retreat by Ukraine. Russia has dictated this war from the beginning. They are now and have been firmly in control of the battlefield. Acting as though the war is anything other than this, is lying/trolling.

He's too embarrassed to even show his ass here anymore.
