I like our recruits. Personally, you could put just about any recruits in our class and I would be happy as long as we get Nico and Seldon. So many kids committing early this year, it won't surprise me if lots of flips happen closer to the ESP. I just hope we keep our kids and flip our fair share from other teams. FSU has the two I'd most like to flip, but Louisville has a top-rated RB commit in Owens and some highly ranked Cali kids from St. Johns Bosco HS.
It sounds crazy, but some teams coach players to PI on deep passes, especially if they think they are beat.Did
They get that from Burrell's MCB game film
I hear Round Lick Creek is nice this time of year. And the Bear Trace Golf course over in Crossville is nice.Any of you well-traveled morans have any suggestions on interesting day trips outside of Rome? I’m taking my teenage daughter in November and we’ll hit the must see items but would like to explore other less visited areas.
Man, people are gonna really loathe (loathe may not accurately describe the levels of hate) us when we start winning big-time in football!
Tivoli. (Gardens, Fountains, Hadrian's estate)Any of you well-traveled morans have any suggestions on interesting day trips outside of Rome? I’m taking my teenage daughter in November and we’ll hit the must see items but would like to explore other less visited areas.
I like our recruits, too, which is why I said I hope we keep our kids, but we still need more in this class. We obviously seem to want another RB and WR. We need more OL, especially an OT. We need DL, and we want another CB. So I'm hoping we flip some kids for some of those positions.I like our recruits. Obviously I'm exaggerating, we have a bunch of good guys, but I think those two are gonna be for real.
It's mostly because of the difference in PI rules between college and the pros. In college, PI costs you 15 yds. In the pros, it's a spot foul.It sounds crazy, but some teams coach players to PI on deep passes, especially if they think they are beat.
I mean, it wouldnt be terrible to do, if. . . you are beat bad and the ball is incoming. Give up a PI and stop a TD. . . but if you're beat that bad, the WR probably isn't close enough to interfere with anyway.
Atlanta and Chattanooga aren't that far. Both have several attractions to partake in.Any of you well-traveled morans have any suggestions on interesting day trips outside of Rome? I get it. 15 yd PI is better than a 50yd TDIt sounds crazy, but some teams coach players to PI on deep passes, especially if they think they are beat.
