Lol. You also never heard of Transnistria until it was mentioned in this thread. Then you looked it up, saw that it was once part of Moldova, then you thought of your hero John McCain and started wishing for another conflict between them.LMAO I’m sure you specifically remember that. I specifically remember a bunch of Pootin ass kissers make excuses for unrest growing in Transnistria prodded by Russia as Russia approached Odessa. Seems we specifically remember it different Curly![]()
In summary the new law lays out the following conditions under which North Korea can use nuclear weapons:
- if attacked
- if under imminent threat of attack by Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)
- if an attack is imminent against strategic assets
- as a last resort to defend against invasion
- if government's leadership is attacked or in instance of an attack on nuclear command and control system
I didn’t hear of lots of the smaller areas in that region until this whole Russian fiasco started. But once your Pootin ass kissing propaganda starts on ANY topic in this thread I go read up and find out the real story. Spoiler Alert: it’s never what you assert CurlyLol. The original "favorable" terms were not favorable or reasonable at all. It was Ukraine had to give up land. Which was a non starter. Russia made a unreasonable opening offer, stuck with it, and then cried to their people when their really bad terms were rejected time and again, and used that as justification. They were probably already given the favorable terms, now Russia has pulled out of further talks as now the real war moves to Europe. See article I posted last week saying almost same thing. There probably is no real hurry to get anything done on the diplomatic front now.
I suspect the stupidity going on in Ukraine will drag out for some time now.... probably into next year at least. I don't know why Russia would be in a hurry now.
I suspect like norrislake that we're all heading into recession (and maybe depression), things continue to deteriorate and are we looking at reset????
Lots of parties are playing dangerous games, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Hey Siri, show me what a three day war does not look like
Per Reuters, he stressed Russia's official position, explaining that nuclear arms could only be used in "response to weapons of mass destruction or a conventional weapons attack that threatened the existence of the Russian state."
Or better... just skip to the last page in the book and save 20 minutes of your life.
If you are talking about the video, why would you skip that? its a primer on Russian tactics and philosophy better than I have heard from entire capstone courses. Plus it gives you an understanding of the real targets, timing, etc so that you are better able to understand what the news is actually saying instead of taking it for face value.
Its also that Ukrainians are indeed winning at this moment (the future, however is very uncertain on that) and it very much appears that US military is devising this battle plan.
I suppose most of you here would rather have a strongly held opinion without the burden of ingesting sufficient facts and rumor to perform analysis such as to have an informed opinion?
North Korea Enshrines Law Making Right Of Nuclear First Strike "Irreversible"
Looks like North Korea is catching up fast on the first strike action. Let everyone know what is coming. Interesting they are putting in basically assassination attempt as a first strike condition.
A nice breakdown by Cappy on what is going on from a military perspective and how both sides have been preparing. I challenge you to get a better and more even handed take on this anywhere.
And for some reason the Europeans havent called off their dogs yet.... almost like they arent holding the leash. Many times the first offer was/is the best offer, the war has since moved to economic with Europe. So, now it cost Europe somewhere in the $1-2T range easy, and they still haven't solved any problems.

When the terms are unacceptable Ukraine is going to fight on their own regardless of what the west does.
Because he is an American and not a Russian troll.. But we all appreciated you letting us know who you were with that insignificant knowledge.Lol. Unhu. Why would these other nations follow the US, especially now that economic collapse and nukes are on the table? I would expect to hear some pretty wide spread pushback if that was the case. The United States is clearly in charge, Europe is only doing what they are told. At least the United States figured out that you let everyone else do the dirty work for no reason.
