I’m work from home but went to the office for the first time today. We have a small 1 bedroom apartment so I told the lady I’d leave to give her some alone time.

I am currently sitting in the dark (motion sensor lights) on the 9th floor of a building near downtown Houston. Ain’t nobody works from the office anymore.

Its crazy. I WFH too and had an interview at a place that wanted me to come in 3 days a week for a minimal raise. NO SHOT I would consider that. Working from home is incredible.

Traveled to our office in Seattle last week for quarterly planning and it was a ghost town. Not just our office building (which has 47 floors) but all of Seattle. There were definitely more homeless than there were office workers in downtown area. A lot of the lunch restaurants were close down, boarded up. I was very surprised, and it was so different from last time I was there in Feb. 2020 (before the lockdown).

Vacant office buildings everywhere. My wife’s global company has a small office space in Austin, TX that’s just under 1000 sq feet for 1000+ employees. It’s just there for business guidelines.

People were already working from home before the pandemic but the pandemic accelerated that transition

It's baffling...but those 4 Krystal Sliders, chili cheese tots, chili cheese pup, and chik came out a LOT faster than they went in.

White Castle burgers don't have the same effect though...it's weird.

I had a flight out of Vegas after splitting a 30 slider pack at White Castle with a group of friends. Most miserable flight ever.

Mitchell has struggled with injuries, academics and fit everywhere he's been. It's always something. Good potential, and we definitely could use him, but UT has hoped he could/would contribute more than counted on it this year.

East Tennessean here who also currently works in downtown Houston. I commute 4 days a week from Sugar Land. Not fun at all but I take the bus so I can browse Volnation on the commute. Got to find a remote job to get back to God's country.

The quality of life improvement is MASSIVE. I've been WFH since early 2014 and will never go back to an office. Not only am I happier not going to the office, but I'm also more productive at home.

I just wonder why the staff didn’t aggressively prioritize LB in the portal or juco ranks? Or did they and just struck out? Were they counting on Jackson Hannah to really be something?
