War in Ukraine

If they were Ukrainians, why did they allegedly vote to become part of Russia?
Because the man they voted for and elected in 2010 was overthrown with the help of US State Department. At that point, the govt in Kyiv in their minds was illegitimate.

Not much different than some Americans feel about the 2020 election.

They’re both wrong.

I'm not pissed, I just don't like Russian apologists. I also don't like being lectured about liberalism from an ******* that is a theocratic autocrat. Not you, by the way.
Lol. That's the first time I've been called a theocratic autocrat. I'm not the one who resorts to name calling any time someone doesn't agree with my political ideology. You should look in the mirror before calling someone else a theocratic autocrat.

Components are made overseas than transported to the US. Same reason cars were sitting in parking lots waiting to be finished around the US as there wasn't computer chips... the computer chips are made in other countries. Just like Europe doesn't have the capacity to supply their own energy.

I have no idea what you are talking about, many countries outsource their military components... heck, the US outsources its services to get military equipment from one spot to another. So what? Much of what the US does is outsourced to third party companies, countries and civilian personnel. I take it you were never in the military?

The end result will be the same to the Ukraine... all this strange discussion isn't going to change the result.

All countries are involved in globalization, some more than others.

I doubt any country can turn on artillery shell production at the rate they;re going through them (people don't just leave that amount of production sitting there), which is why many countries in Europe have already said they have gone through considerable supply. So what? Make more, blow it up some more, make more, blow it up some more... until nothing is left. And everyone will than be happy.

Don't worry... if someone runs out... someone is going to produce it because everyone wants that crap hole gone.
You are right I was never in the military. 4F. Also didnt help that I applied for OTS during Obama's downsizing.

But the way the Russian military works was supposed to be different than the way western military works. That was the whole argument for Russia winning the economic war, it was self reliant. How can you argue they are set to win an economic war when they cant even supply a war on their homefront.

And the Russian artillery doesnt have computer chips in every, maybe any, of their shells. What components is Russia incapable of producing? They shouldnt be needing complicated anti tank rounds, they shouldnt be needing shells with some huge fuse delay, magnetic detection. I doubt North Korea would even be able to supply any of the fancy components if that is what they needed.

They apparently need stuff so simple that the North Koreans can provide it in large enough numbers to supply their war effort. If your outsourcing relies on North Korea I dont know if I would go bragging on your economic prowess.

Still after multiple times, you neglect to say "hey, I'm not a theocratic autocrat". And save your pearl clutching for the oligarchs, Vlad.

Lol. I just think it's funny that you resort to name calling this morning. You are well known for that anytime someone doesn't submit to your religious ideology known as the democrat party. Which in reality makes you the theocratic autocrat. Your hypocrisy is on full display this morning.

And you also have admitted to supporting the far right, racist, authoritarian, fascist regime in Kiev.

Was that supposed to represent your interpretation of Russia's involvement? Because it was quite biased and quite frankly wrong.

Look, I don't care how you spin it, at the end of the day, America isn't going to let China build up on their border or Russia for that matter and rightly so.
How was it wrong? Since it's so frank, it should be easy to point out.

And so imperialism is allowed as long as you border the country or at some point in the past your country has claimed it, or if you have displaced the locals and moved in your own people?

Find it telling Ras has failed to respond to your post.

LMAO. I've been called just about every name in the book on the VNPF. I could care less what names you throw at me.

And you're not denying you support a far right, fascist, racist regime in Kiev and that your religious ideology centers around the democrat party. Two words for you. Horseshoe theory.

No, I'm pissed because a sovereign nation was invaded by a prick with a complex.

Let's by pass the question of "sovereignty" for a bit.

The United States and various countries of Europe have been invading "sovereign" countries since they have been around, in the last 25-30 years they have taken it to a whole other level, right? I mean, nobody is crying about all that are we? Why do we care if its Russia and not the United States or Europe? At the end of the day you don't really care about any of those people, right?

In the last 30 years we have invaded Iraq (bad move), Syria (partially and a bad move), Libya (partially and another bad move) and Afghanistan which was justified.

Afghanistan which was justified.

Anyone can justify anything. A whole bunch of people died there with no real objective accomplished but anyone can justify anything.

Heck, the United States invaded a "sovereign" country and kidnapped their President because they didn't like competition in the drug trade. LOL

Nobody cares about any of these people, they never did.

Afghanistan invasion was justified, the subsequent occupation was fubar.

Panama was over 30 years ago, ask me how I know.
