Maybe giving them that lecture after a disappointing first loss was a bad idea, but I can't fault the man for asking them to be on time. These big university head football coaches are incredibly busy, and their time allotments are tight. It doesn't seem unreasonable to remind them that press conferences running over will interfere with other obligations.

One persons job is more time consuming than the other one, no doubt, but being on time should be a two way street if you’re going to call the other side out. Coaches are notoriously late for press conferences. Some of it out of their control of course, but still, media wait on coaches a lot more often than coaches wait on media so I can at least see why a reporter would be upset with his comments. I wouldn’t have done it if I was the reporter, but still, feels a bit disingenuous on Kelly’s part if he was serious about the comments. I thought he was borderline joking personally but he’s so damn cringy I can’t tell.

On being ranked..
To me..I just don't care. Winning and losing takes care of it in the end and considering where we're ranked we're as close to being not ranked as being ranked. And I just don't see a ton of difference
between 24 and 34.

We beat Pitt and Florida... No worries on where we will be ranked. We lose.. Well, that takes care of itself too.
