I like what your saying. Give me more.

Ok. I also thought that it was funny that they compared us to WVU. The WVU offense was nothing like the buzz saw that we are bringing. They will be looking to the sideline to get their defensive calls and we will be running a play. They will be out of position and Hendo will be hitting Hyatt or Tillman (if he comes back for this game) down the sideline with nothing but green grass and an ugly blue and yellow endzone in front of them.

When does the Top 25 get updated? I am looking forward to seeing what moves were made after this past weekend.

I’m not sure I can remember a year where so many conclusions have been jumped to after the first (real) week of the season. And I’m not just talking about us. It’s everywhere, from fans to sports media.

man you aint lyin

From everything ive heard from CFB media it sounds like Anthony Richardson has the Heisman wrapped up after throwing for 160 yards and seems like UF is def a CFB Playoff team. No need for anyone else in the SEC East to show up at this point.

Pitt game will come down to how well our OL can block. That's the only thing I'm concern about, if they hold up against that Pitt front 7 in the first half pretty well and we can get into the tempo early we should have them gassed by the 2nd half and it'll be a long day for 'em.

If they can force us into plenty of 3 & outs we'll be struggling and it'll end up being close into the 4th.

Let's just take one week at a time... Not sure how good or bad Pitt truly is at this point, but we should be better as a team than when we played them last year... They have home field advantage, and their DB's were mugging WVU's WR's without a single call, so our WR's are gonna have to prepare to be pushed, held, etc. without getting frustrated... our big question is our Defense-- their D line looks to have improved since last season... We have to tools to win, it will just be if we use them all and execute.

good luck throwing our two big WRs around lol That's all ill say about that.

WV had two big physical WR's as well, so hopefully we will make the right adjustments ...
Theres this narrative Pitt is so physical but "one of the most physical teams in the country" shouldnt give up 6 yards a carry and then only run for 1.9YPC themselves. Idk.

Not like WVU is an offensive machine.

Purdue didn't have to manhandle our WRs to disrupt our timing. They were holding jerseys and getting away with it.

Totally depends on what kind of ref crew we have that day and what mood their in as far as calling a fair game. I hate to say it, but we are at the mercy of the refs. They can control how far out we push the lead, or how much they'll let Pitt stick around. They can control for comebacks, letting one team drive the field with bubble wrap on, while the other team has to earn every yard without one call in their favor.

Narduzzi is going to have their team lay down after every play as well. His goal will be to muddy the game up as much as possible. I think he'll try to reenact the last 2.5 quarters of the MCB.

If the refs are taxing our offense and derailing our drives, or letting Pitt get away with murder to limit us, then we're just at the mercy of the crew for the day.

WVU held Pitt to under 80 yards rushing and had 2 or 3 sacks. So Pitt's OL didn't exactly look great.

Pitt also gave up almost 200 yards rushing (190) at 5.8 YPC. They held Daniels to 214 passing yards and a completion % of just 57.5.

WVU doesn't have anywhere near the talent at WR as we do though. So we'll see an interesting battle there, also will the officials allow physical play by Pitt's secondary or will they call it closer? Personally with how big Bru, Tillman, and Keyton are I don't think trying to play them physical is a smart move, especially if playing mostly man.
