War in Ukraine

Kind of like Turkey, some NATO countries took up the lost art. My guess if someone protested too much in the Ukraine... to the front line you go.

Those people might as well be throwing their money into the furnace this winter to stay warm.... completely idiotic. Thank god they can bitch about it.

"He guys, I know you're spending 7 times your normal energy bill for no reason.... but we're listening."

International markets are complex, but there is no doubt that Russia's war in Ukraine caused international prices of both fuel and food to go higher. Those higher prices led to a global inflation. People can assign blame for the higher prices to their own national leadership, but one man, Vladimir Putin of Russia, started that war. The war policies of that one man caused the inflation.

The war caused prices to go up, then prices go down but the war is still going strong. Putin taxed us and then he gave us a raise?

No, inflation was caused by the printing press. And over the last 10+ years the weirdo greenies (who own investments in green) moved to disable its (world) ability to produce energy inexpensively and in turn this causes all products to increase because behind all units of output is an energy input cost. Sanctioning Russia has done nothing but expose their own flaws of not securing cheap energy sources, which will probably lead to food shortages and more expensive prices.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

The real war is only starting and its not in the Ukraine.

Sorry Pal, but nothing you're saying changes the fact that Putin's war caused a global inflation of fuel and food prices.

How much of that 800b gets skimmed off by Russian Oligarchs? Answer: A bunch of it.
And thanks to these sanctions, you guys have crippled those oligarchs and done Putin a huge favor.

The Russians don't have anything that can touch the F22 Raptor or the FA18 Super Hornet. The U.S. would have air superiority and would wipe the Russians out eventually.
Why weren't the Ukrainians given these fighters if it is as obvious as you say? Ukraine could have established their own "no fly zone".

You know that the U.S. spends more on defense than any other nation, right?
Yeah, and WTF do we have to show for it? We've spent more than any other military since WWII and don't have any wins on the board outside of Grenada and Panama.

No, the sanctions is pushing up the price of energy and food.

There's been a few times on here me, you and a few others have presented good arguments and they do whatever they can to sidetrack it like you said. Or the other common tactic is for 4 or 5 or more of their trolls to show up and jump on people like a pack of hyenas.
Lol!

Ramzan Kadyrov...

Operative information!

In the Donetsk People's Republic, the Akhmat special forces and the 2nd Corps of the LPR launched a large-scale offensive in several areas. Our fighters are actively advancing in the direction of Soledar, Yakovlevka, Seversk.

The pause that has been sustained for tactical purposes lately has fully justified itself. I will not reveal all the secrets, but thanks to the plan we developed, the inspired enemy revealed all his positions. This is what we needed. Now the Akhmat special forces, together with the allied forces, are conducting active offensive operations and mercilessly hitting the enemy. In total, about 60 km of territory will have to be cleared of fascist shortcomings.

My dear BROTHER, Hero of Russia, commander of the special forces "Akhmat" Apty Alaudinov, reports from the scene that the Nazis are already suffering huge losses both in manpower and in equipment as of this hour. And if in recent days the enemy, inspired by our tactical pause, tried to launch a counteroffensive, now he can only think about saving his worthless life.
AKHMAT - POWER!

WSJ:

"Ukrainian officials say their military’s southern offensive is going slowly. They also say that is precisely the plan.

The announcement Monday of a thrust in the south raised hopes that Ukraine could reclaim territory Russia seized early in the war, including the regional capital of Kherson.

But success could take many shapes, say officials and Western analysts. Even without quickly regaining much ground, Kyiv can achieve progress by forcing Russia to expose its troop locations and supply bases, take a defensive posture and thereby appear weak or pull troops from other parts of the country. Ukraine can also gain intelligence about Russian formations, vulnerabilities and will to fight.
Ukrainian officials say they have neither the armor nor the manpower to make a quick advance.

Instead, the military aims to weaken front-line Russian forces while also using long-range artillery and rockets, such as Himars provided by the U.S., to hit critical installations behind Russian lines such as command posts and ammunition depots."
