Interesting that they start the clock at 06/02/2022 instead of 02/24/2022. Also, even if they didn't gain an inch of ground since June (which we both know is false), the Russians would still be winning.No. It shows a bunch of Russians sitting around with their thumbs up their asses and going north where for three months Moe. Just like he said.
Oh they have most definitely stalled out Moe. And this is another of those Pyrrhic victories.Interesting that they start the clock at 06/02/2022 instead of 02/24/2022. Also, even if they didn't gain an inch of ground since June (which we both know is false), the Russians would still be winning.
It's great see people there are free to gather, protest and speak their mind. For a decades they were forced to keep their heads down and mouths shut.
Has there been any word on if these Warthogs were involved in the Kherson counteroffensive? The way you guys talked, it would have been well suited for this mission.
Ironic post is ironic..They need to step up their whataboutism game. They throw out whataboutisms in an effort to side track an argument. On the other hand, I guess when we throw out whataboutisms, it is to juxtapose two or more similar items and ask why our behavior and thinking is one way in this instance but 180 out of phase on other similar situations... in other words to point out the hypocrisy and flaws in their logic.
It's called net gains..not "what Russia couldn't keep"...or as I like to say as a play on words and an old Nintendo game, Rush'N'RetreatInteresting that they start the clock at 06/02/2022 instead of 02/24/2022. There's been a few times on here me, you and a few others have presented good arguments and they do whatever they can to sidetrack it like you said. Or the other common tactic is for 4 or 5 or more of their trolls to show up and jump on people like a pack of hyenas. They need to step up their whataboutism game. They would be vaporized in the Ukraine. Its like saying how would the U.S. forces fair against India if all they use is sticks and stones, its moot. You don't determine what the other side uses.
The Russians are not going to invest $800b per year into their military as that is a waste of money.
The Russians probably wouldn't fair well in most places unless they went fully dark i.e. they took out all the grids and all the satellites. At that point, I actually think they could do better but its mostly moot.
The way they talked, if the U.S. just gave them a couple of those Warthogs it would have won the war for Ukraine.
Mr. President and colleagues, let me repeat. George Kennan, the
architect of containment, said as recently as March 15 that,
``Expanding NATO would be the most fateful error of American policy in
the entire post-world war era.''
That is a pretty serious statement by someone who has great
credibility based on his record. He is not alone in that assessment.
Former Senator Nunn, who enjoyed enormous respect on both sides of the
aisle in this Chamber, has discussed a dangerous contradiction at the
center of the argument for expansion, saying that while enlargement is
intended to protect former Soviet satellites, nothing else is as likely
to remilitarize Russia and endanger those very countries as NATO
enlargement.
.....
By rejecting NATO enlargement, we would simply be choosing not to
embark on a dangerous and unjustified course of enlarging NATO and
would avoid making a terrible mistake in the course of U.S.-Russian
relations.

How much of that 800b gets skimmed off by Russian Oligarchs? Answer: A bunch of it. The Russians don't have anything that can touch the F22 Raptor or the FA18 Super Hornet. The U.S. would have air superiority and would wipe the Russians out eventually. You know that the U.S. spends more on defense than any other nation, right?
