To get the full college experience you need to spend all your years there. If you don't come 'till your Jr. year you'll play hell getting involved socially. The cliques are already formed

Easy fix. If people are allowed to bankrupt those loans, the lenders will stop giving loans to anyone with a pulse for any BS degree they want to take. It would take about 5 years to get rid of some of this nonsense.

If this really was his plan, I have complete disgust for him as an American. That is one of the most reprehensible things I have read on here. "Planning" on defaulting on an obligation.

You said it would be hell to get involved socially. When you're 21 and can go to bars surround by hundreds/thousands of people your age. Off campus parties, intramurals, classes, clubs, athletic events, etc. Quite a few of the people I met freshman/soph year dropped out or transferred, very uncommon to see that in upperclassmen.

You tow the line as moderate or libertarian, but at some point people are going to have to commit to the party that is not trying to destroy the United States. We cannot sustain these types of decisions as a country and they are coming in waves. Meanwhile the underbelly of the union is fragile and we have lost respect worldwide. The only fools trying to convince us of "nothing to see here" are the propagandists doing it including the media.

I asked when I get to come hang out.

It's now a lot easier to see why in-state cost has risen from $4k to $27k per year between my and his freshman years.

Yeah my son after 4 years at Rice, came to work in my company this summer. Little did I know part of his curriculum was shooting pool. Now our company has a pool table.
