Me personally and obviously I wasn't alive during the start of RnR, but I start the conversation with Chuck Berry.
All depends on your, my, definition of “rock n roll.” To me, it’s rhythm and blues with a kick.

when someone asks me if I like “rock and roll” my answer is , Yes, but I love “hard rock” or “metal”

Worry about QB pressures. If we are bringing heat consistently it makes the corners look a whole lot better. Conversely if the QB has a lot of time the corners are toast.

Pass defense is complementary, and can be as much about one as the other.

What I saw in the bowl was a very solid QB doing a great job getting the ball out to 2nd or 3rd string WR’s that were absolutely torching our corners.

Every player has a thread. There are updates in most of them with some regularity.

Half the time, I jump into those threads and we are talking about different topics. Also, we have player threads for prospects that are not even on our radar. This forum isn't the best source.

Chuck Berry is the GOAT. He traveled solo for years, just him and his guitars. He played venues using local house bands. He would rehearse with them and coach them up. He was the show

Kieth Richards asked Chuck Berry what songs they were going to play. He said Chuck Berry songs, of course.

Well, it's not something that I've ever lost sleep over, lol.

But yah. I think McCartney and Lenon would be RnR royalty. As would Page. Hendrix. Hell, I'd throw Brian Wilson in there before Elvis if we were crowning royalty.

I guess, as I see it, you crown someone "king" you're basically giving him credit for the genre, or at least credit for its definition. And I just don't see saddling that credit on the one who parroted the ones who were actually creating and defining it. Does the creator get that credit, or the creator's parrot? (However great that parrot may be at parroting...)

But I'm not here to define what measures anyone else use to enthrone their king/queen. You pay your tribute based on your values...
Thanks. Hope you didn’t take that the wrong way. I was just curious.

Chuck Berry owes all his success to Marty McFly and his Cousin Marvin Berry in Back to the Future.
