Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

Gramps. A regular of the PF. He was a moderate who liked to goad people. He and hog used to go at it. I believe he called hog, "pig or piglet"
He loved Jesus, his family, and he loved the Vols. He passed away from cancer(?).

GrandVol was the poster who made the recommendation to name this thread after Gramps.

Fun fact: the mods initially denied our request for OT

When Hog passes our VN brethren will start a Hog Hates Texas Memorial Thread. It will be started by Dallas and Dave.

Other than spending a couple of weeks in Houston and exclaiming that it was the hottest place on earth with 100% humidity, I don't have a bad thing to say about Texas. Why in the hell someone would willingly live in hell is beyond me, Tennessee's weather is bad enough in the summer.

It blows, but actually 6 months of year are very pleasant. Not really different than Florida IMO.
Personally I like cold weather..just not real cold.
Put some chili on and a FB game going on. Wear a jacket, and crisp air. I love Fall weather in Tennessee, but in Texas you get a much longer Autumn temps, but gotta suffer that brutal Hell

He was. Got that Rockford turnaround in his car.
Lots of future stars on the show, too.

I think my Mom would of left my Dad for him if the occasion arose..

Come to think of it maybe even my Dad would of left Mom if the opportunity arose..😭

Just remember as a kid both my parents liked The Rockford Files. Dad even shopped a Camaro back then, but settled on an Olds. lol

Thoughts on Olivia Newton John.

This is nostalgia from my childhood. I remember watching Grease as a kid. I loved the music and singing. A young Travolta and Newton John were really cool. I used to think she was so pretty and an All-American girl. At the time, I didn't know she was British. I didn't care.

I remember being in PE when they would play Let's Get Physical when it came out. I loved that song. I really thought it was an exercise song.

My time flies.

Well, she was Australian...

ETA: born in the UK and emigrated to Australia at a young age.

Had a low pressure indication on way to a meeting today. Literally 5 miles from destination and look up tires..and see Discount Tire..walk in and they were very busy so looked for another and .5 miles away was Mavis Tire and thought Roadside Protection! The same place I complained months ago. Stopped and said I was 4th in line..90 minutes later asked and I was next..Called another place and said bring it on in. In and out in 30 minutes. Patched for 2 nails..and tipped the tech.

Needless to say my install contractor handled everything and I stopped by after my repairs.

I am an idiot.

I just saw where Olivia Newton-John died today. I used to love her music back in the 70's.
Man, she was all that and a bag of chips when I was a kid. Please Mr. Please would come on the radio and all activity ceased until she finished. She also told me she honestly loved me. :D
