Good lawd Rolling Loud was a mess
First Ye drops out 5 days before the festival.
Then he gets replaced with someone he has beef with, Kid Cudi. He then gets booed by Ye fans and water bottles thrown at him. He walks off after 4 songs. Poor guy. Then Ye fans start calling his name...WHEN HE CANCELED ON THEM. That's some serious simping and stanning smh. It was Drake-Frank Ocean at Camp Flog Gnaw all over again.
Then Ye randomly appears anyway for 1 song on another artist's set. Smh
Then to top it off AB tries to rap by...rapping over the actual song? Why?
They may put together a good lineup for hip hop heads, but goodness it seems like trash. The crowd and vibes especially. You couldn't pay me enough to go.
In one of the camp update videos they did last year, that dude was eating his lunch during the video and talking with food in his mouth. Not a live stream... Just had to get a quick lunch in. Wild. He seems like an alright guy but lacks some self awareness in the podcast game it seems like lol. He's his buddy and doesn't seem to really understand the role of being the "host" who guides the conversation while letting Kyler give the insight, etc. It's definitely distracting at times, because people aren't listening for Reed Bacon's take on the Vols. They're listening for KK's take, memories, insights, etc.
Wife’s a native. Account for the state taxes…income and everything else. Everything costs more food, gas etc. Commuting is a nightmare. She advises to find the nicest area to live close to the office and ASK for a transportation allowance. Santa Clara is a nice option. All that aside, it’s a great experience if the money works. Day trips are easy and amazing. Food is elite. If they’re wanting this they’ll be ready for the requests.Any of you morans have any advice on living in the San Jose area (other than don’t do it). Company wants me to do a 2 year assignment there. They are going to cover my housing costs. California is definitely not my first choice but the career opportunity is difficult to pass up.
Don't show up at @UTProf's house unless you are invited and even then, call from the driveway to make sure you are still good to come inside the house.
I am actually quite good with a sword. Well certain types of swords. I was trained in Iaido (bokken first (wooden sword) then bladed swords) but I picked up others informally. I absolutely love small light swords that you can do quick movements with. If I was stronger I'd be a bigger fan of the European Bastard Sword because it's a great all rounder. But I suppose if I needed a battle ready sword I'd choose the katana. I know how to use it and it's strengths/weaknesses.
Literally listened to that this morning and had to turn it off. Guy was eating and talking about golf the first 20 min while yelling at his dog barking in the background. The Zone (104.5) podcasts on Spotify are pretty great. Buck Reising’s are great and they’re 2 hours of Tennessee/SEC footballFinally listened to the Kerbyson/Butch Jones podcast. That cohost guy is awful. Interjects way too much and says things just to say things.
Texas has had many a great recruiting class that never lived up to the billing. GBO!If Texas lost 12 games last year they would still recruit gangbusters.Texas is huge and full of blue chips and they are the flagship school.. Its impossible for them not to land theirs. People need to stop comparing us.
We have to have ads and promos on the Jumbotron about it during games. Stations at the games, inside the stadium, outside the stadium. Sponsored parties on campus, tailgates, bars after the games.
Planes flying banners over the games.
Highly visible Vol Club boat in/by the Vol Navy on the river.
Vol Club reps ready to go if/when we beat the Gators.
I'm talking a land-sea-air campaign.
Time to winvest
Ya, audiobooks are more for people with superior intellects and attention spans.Stand-up comedy (sirius) is the GOAT for long drives. Never boring and puts you in a good mood. And not a big deal if you don't pay 100% attention.
Every time I listened to audiobooks, I'd fade off or think about something at some point and have to keep rewinding it. Trying to intently listen to important parts of books while doing the whole driving and not killing anyone thing just didn't work well for me. Good for long stationary bike rides though
