Recruiting Forum Football Talk IV

Not sure if mentioned, but the other great thing about the allegations coming out and NCAA saying we are the standard for handling a situation like this, is this will shut down the negative recruiting (looking at you, Kentucky). I’m sure our coaches have been honest with recruits, and the recruits will see now with the notice that our staff has been honest, and other staffs are lying. The recruits will trust our coaches even more, knowing we will not be served anymore sanctions or maybe a minor slap in the wrist.
Lets hope so. I think most recruits will appreciate the way our University handled a serious situation.

Man...just rewatching the Mizzou, USCjr, and UK games...our offense simply looked like the opposing defenses didn't belong on the same field as them. Been a long time since I've seen that.

Also befuddling why Tiyon would transfer. He was killing it. But oh well, just weird.

If this isn't the most fun offense in CFB to watch, idk what is.
I’ve been going through all last season. The amount of overthrown or penalties that we had in drives that killed momentum were a lot. If we hit on those this year then sky is the limit honestly.

I will never understand the Levis talk. Levis had more interceptions last year than Hooker has in his entire career. Hooker's career QBR is nearly 30 points higher as well. I guess acting like a buffoon on social media makes a person "elite" these days.
I think it is because he wears a super cool headband

Yeah this kid was a mystery to me last season... looked top tier at times, but had glass ankles... Not sure why he wanted out when clearly we are heading in the right direction and he would have most likely been the starter this seasson... may have been as simple as not getting his way in some situations or wanted to be treated higher than he was and immaturity took over and he left... We most likely won't hear about this kid ever again at Louisville...

State it again - now years later. A negotiated settlement including and informing the AA compliance area throughout the investigation process. Negotiated settlements were introduced by the AA a year or two before revelations about the Pruitt regime. AA wants to reduce time and cost. They have staffing shortages like everybody else. Schools are given the option when notice of infractions are received. UT took the option as the least damaging route, which was wise. Fortunately, they did not listen to posters on here who were stuck in the old ways of doing things adversarially.

It's what happens when you have quality leadership who have strong, successful business backgrounds at what they do.

Win-win. Saves both AA and UT time, money and unnecessary angst. Life can go on and programs not be destroyed by the Pruitts of the world.

Pruitt can rot. Forde can join him along with SchiaNO.

I mean he’s out $12 million dollars and feels like he got canned without cause. The things minus bringing recruits in during Covid is what every school does. I understand why he feels scorned and wants his side out.

Really, how much of the evidence included to the NCAA have you seen? I do look forward into seeing the detail of who blew the BIG whistle that initiated the action, and the sequenced route of that information through the administration. That will clear up a lot of things. Did it go through or around CPF? When was compliance involved and by who? I have heard some rumblings but nothing I would trust.

It was too late in the process for the top two to praise CPF at the news conference if he had any culpability. The tone of yesterday's NCAA pronouncements does not support any misinformation by the admin in the process. But it will not be out there till final NCAA decision is handed down as per White's confident comments yesterday.

Well the best info any of us have are what the insiders In here share. So going off that is why I make that statement. I do believe it went through CPF just looking at his past as a HC and not an AD. Could he separate himself from meddling in Football aspects? All indications point to no, he was at all practices and even said to help with practices. Pure speculation though.
