Awesome!! I've gotten to play a few of my dream courses. Harbor Town, The Old White at the Greenbriar, Homestead - The Old Course, Tobacco Rd. The only one that gave me goose bumps was the Old White. That was an experience I will never forget. Complete with your own caddy giving you yardages and recommendations. Shook off the goose bumps after about 7 holes and settled down. Shot 6 over on the front, but rebounded for even par on the back.In a few hours I will be teeing off at the Golf Club of Houston… on the PGA tournament course… goose bumps.
There is only one course I want to play before I die..............The Old Course at St. Andrews. Going next year..........Awesome!! I've gotten to play a few of my dream courses. I still want to play Pinehurst No. 2 and Pebble Beach some day. Augusta National of course is the ultimate, but I have resigned myself to the fact that I will never get to play it.

I wish that was alot closer to Nashville than 5 hrs. Looks wonderful.Attention all Golf Ho's. It may not be Augusta, or any premium pro course. But, there is a magnificent golf course in NE Ga, city of Hartwell, called Catechee. Has four rooms decorated after the Majors if you want to go full tilt, and a great restaurant. This course is a registered bird sanctuary. It was built by laying the course into the topography. It was not gouged out. It has a 142 slope rating. I got down to an 11 registered handicap there but it cost a lot of time and money. The best part...the course has very tightly manicured 419 bermuda fairways, as well as Crenshaw Bentgrass greens...the same as Augusta. Even when aerated, they roll beautifully. For a pro level golf outing at about a $75 green fee, it's worth the trip if going around hitting courses is your thing.
