I need some help getting tickets for this fall. Normally, our schedule is so jammed that coming to a game is next to impossible. Finally, we have a week/ weekend available to come down for a game. It's the 22nd of October. It's the UT Martin game, but its better than nothing. What is your recommendation on getting tickets? I'm concerned about counterfeit tickets. I'm just starting my search. Thanks, Charlie
Excellent points.Heupel had a worse situation that he walked into. You can say his roster was better or that his competition was lesser and I would agree with that. Pittman has done a tremendous job in a short time at Arkansas.
Heupel walked into a situation where the program was under ncaa investigation and it’s bs if you don’t think that’s been a huge hurdle for this team; it’s just how well White and Heupel have handled the situation. The NIL has been mostly irrelevant until this year for us anyways.
The boosters were also absolutely divided with Haslam being pissed at his loss of power in the AD and boosters like Anderson being pissed about Fulmer being ousted. Let’s not forget most of the fans did not want Heupel period. Arkansas was a tough situation but our leadership, administration, and boosters have been a train wreck for almost two decades. I’m not sure some on here have tried doing a job when the management of a company have been incompetent for 20 years and rebuilt things?
Wow that 2019 in state cycle was full of busts.
1. Maurice Hampton (LSU) in the portal for over a year
2. Eric Gray (Tennessee) transferred to OU
3. Bill Norton (UGA)
4. Joseph Anderson (uscjr) xferred to Purdue
5. Kane Patterson (Clemson) xferred to Vandy
6. Kristian Williams (Oregon) in the portal
7. Jackson Lampley (Tennessee)
8. Woodi Washington (Oklahoma)
9. Melvin McBride (Tennessee) medically retired
10. Keveon Mullins (uscjr) xferred to JSU
Just changed diaper. Smelled nothing. Amazing. As far as I can tell I can smell everything else.My two year old and I caught it this week. Almost exact same situation as you. My wife and 2month old are still in the clear (we’ve been quarantining from each other). She tested negative but also complained about a scratchy throat. I thought I had lost my sense of smell bc I couldn’t smell my daughters dirty diapers when I was changing her, but I can smell everything else, so I think I only lost the ability the smell poop? Which… seems like a win I guess. We’re on day 4, and I’m less achy but still have a pretty solid cough. It’s no fun, for sure.
I don’t know that Sam Pittman would’ve taken the Tennessee job if offered at the same time Arkansas hired him. Traditionally Tennessee is a much better job but when you have guys like Sonny Dykes telling you thanks but no thanks it’s telling. Our past two ADs were sacked by boosters, Fulmer, Anderson got Currie canned who was doing what Haslam told him to do; Haslam got Fulmer and Pruitt canned, a leak in the athletic dept to compliance doesn’t sack any AD or coach in the SEC unless a power player wants that to happen. We were almost as dysfunctional as Auburn is currently.Excellent points.
That would be a more valid point if teams weren’t reaching out trying to lure him away with money.Interesting point that Andy Staples made: everyone seems to be very high on Pitt this off-season, but what does it say about their team going into this year when their best player Jordan Addison takes a look around at what's left after his coordinator and QB leaves and decides to leave?

Again it’s not the roster you’re given or the schedule only. You can have the best roster and schedule in the world and be screwed by incompetence above you as a coach. White has definitely removed a lot of obstacles for Heupel to be successful but coming in this was a very difficult job. Most said Tennessee was only surpassed by Nebraska as far as difficulty and expectations of fans and boosters. Pittman had done a fantastic job no doubt but to say that Heupel had a even decent situation is laughable. Every decent coach in the country was saying no publicly and behind closed doors bc they knew how difficult the Tennessee job would be.

Yes. Maybe it’s a good thing we have already forgotten what a shape the whole AD was in. Remember it was burnt to the ground and had to start in ashes.I don’t know that Sam Pittman would’ve taken the Tennessee job if offered at the same time Arkansas hired him. He’s made plenty of money just to go to uscIf Addison left for better production to help his draft standings, he rolled the dice. USC may have a prolific passing game in 2022, but it's not like he's walking into an established, stable offensive situation. I'm not saying Pitt's offense is a sure thing either, just that Addison's decision making may be questionable.
Jobu needs more rum.The whole thinking was it didn’t matter where he signed to play football…he was a MLB lock. Haven’t followed his diamond exploits.
Edit: Just did. Transferred to Samford for baseball only. Hit .254 (has trouble with breaking stuff). Most likely coming back for his senior season.
