I reject that label. When I think of millennials, I think of the first generation that grew up with advanced communication technology. I was born in ‘84 and grew up without cell phones, no Internet, 4 or 5 tv channels, listened to John Ward radio broadcasts for most UT games… got dial up when I was 16 or 17.
Have you ever in your childhood received a participation trophy, tho?

Watching the SC game again… lol @ us losing to them with that pedestrian offense. No chance. Defense should be much improved. My guess for starters:

DL: Young
DL: Simmons
DL: Thomas
DL: Harrison
LB: Banks
LB: Beasley/Mohan
CB: Turnage
CB: Turrentine
NB: Walker
S: Flowers
S: Charles
Baron will probably start. Also think Mitchell has a good chance starting at linebacker

Amigo, it wasn't an accusation.

Read it like this: "It does no good to ask Freak to make any changes since it's not a VN thing."

Is that better?
I've seen him address ads before. Like I said, it's not a 100% automated algorithm where website managers have no say.

And regarding your search history, that's one of many, many variables in the model that determines which ads are served up to users. Another variable would be whoever is paying the most gets their ad displayed the most regardless of relevancy to the user. Another would be frequency of online purchases, which can get you served ads that have nothing to do with you because some companies want to target frequent online purchasers no matter what their search history is.

I think it used to be split between gen y and millennials due to reasons you said. I’m 1983.

No, it isn't how BCR works. You just look at the past 4 classes.

It is a naive model to the extreme. Beautifully simple and just keeps being correct. Sort of funny how simple it is and just keeps chugging along.

Yeah I suppose I’ve been calculating a modified BCR adjusted for attrition. Using some of Chatt’s info on active rosters with blue chip players I calculated ours at 32%, LSU was mid 40s and UF was like 48%. Complicates the calculation a bit but should clarify some info as teams with coaching changes will have more attrition than teams that don’t.

I’m sure most teams see a reduction in BCR as time passes but teams with coaching changes see the biggest. Stability counts for a lot.

Just talked to Mahmoud Abdul Rauf...aka Chris Jackson. Almost makes me want to turn clean living Muslim...almost. Love bacon and Jesus too much.
U know Abdul Rauf has Tourette's Syndrome ? More of the face and body tics than the involuntary cussing that the "Tall Bitch" had from "Deuce Bigelow". I did a report about Tourette's in Biology II at Fulton, because he had it and it sounded fascinating. But, I read where the meditation/praying helps him control it. One of the best freshman I have ever seen in college basketball and he would kill it in today's NBA

It’s official…. Arch manning is the number one qb in the country….. mike Farrell thinks he is overrated.
You think Arch Manning deserves to be 1 of only 3 players to ever be given a perfect recruiting grade? He doesn't camp, he plays weak competition, and his stats are not really impressive.

I remember it was publicized when he broke out. You don't notice anything amiss when you talk to him. He radiates positivity...very happy guy.

Yeah I mean just using the annual Team Talent Composite, which includes transfers and attrition, would be far more pragmatic.

But also take away from the simplicity and beauty of such naive modeling that wrecks all preconceptions of deep analysis being necessary. It's amazing in its own right.

The creator also says he expects the model's streak to be broken eventually...at some point. The team would likely need an elite QB, injury avoidance, and overall luck. Why not us? 😅
