What did you have for dinner II?

Homemade legit Tex Mex street tacos, homemade guacamole, homemade queso, and homemade spicy salsa.

They don’t make this at any restaurant here. Considering starting a food trailer on the side.

Horrible idea, unless you bring some here first, and let me sample. It's the smart business thing to do 👀👀

NO!!!!!! Don’t use Joe as a tester! He’ll eat anything!

Shoot, he’d probably eat Cap’n Crunch tacos if you put some Dale’s on it. 🤢

Y’all think I could do well with a taco trailer? I’ve been to most of the food trucks, trailers, and restaurants that make “street tacos” and/or Mexican food, and I’ve not been overly impressed.

Everyone who has eaten my tacos (hundreds of locals) has loved them.

Not sure where you are, but here in the Tri, most food truck operators I've talked to have a hard time making money. They either need a good semi permanent location or the "truck" is a work up to an actual restaurant.

The ones that make money do most of their buisness in catering and events. I have no idea what a more urban area works like. But the biggest thing here is Auntie Ruth's. They do doughnuts.

There are also several folks that have smaller "cottage" businesses that work off of pick up or delivery, rather than mobile kitchens. The young folk seem to prefer "home cookin" to restaurants. But it's very situational as to what takes off and what doesn't.
