I've tried them every way you can think of. Because errbody says "well you ain't had good grits until you've tried so & so's" So I try them to see if I really am missing out, but it's the same. It ain't rocket surgery. The only way I can even tolerate them is with a sh*tload of hot sauce.I’m curious - when you’ve eaten (or been served) grits, are they sweetened? Personally, I can’t stand sugar on grits. I like mine with salt, pepper, and butter. Others love them sweetened.
Of course, this is a whole other fraught topic, right up there with Thanksgiving dressing vs stuffing and oysters or no.

Boiled peanuts are a blessing on this earth, Ranch dressing is the shiz and candy corn sucks ass (well TFG likes it so that tells you what you need to know about that). Is there anything you do like?
