What species of grass? If fescue then that makes sense. Fescue likes cooler temps. If bermuda then 1. Something wasn't done right but 2. It'll come back. I've scorched bermuda repeatedly with gly and it still won't die in my garden beds.

May just not be watering it enough, or it could've been sod from the inside of a large roll that sat too long while everyone else got fresh sod.

I agree that he and others should channel the rage into being better at playing the game. But that was ridiculous.

1 - it was not his first AB
2 - says they had to warn him while he was in center bc he was arguing balls and strikes. Umps told him to direct his words towards his team and he apologized and he said he gets excited
3 - I’m just passing along info

I can provide a doctor’s note if it would help. Umps can’t penalize a player or coach for a documented medical condition… need the VN legal team to get on this ASAP. 🤔

Already acknowledged #1 to newt right after the post.

Players know when the umps are messing with them. Tough situation. Have to beat both the opponent and the ump.

Yup. Set up some timers this morning and going to just water, water, water. If that doesn’t bring it back enough I’ll just have to suck it up til the fall.
