Just about all levels you get tossed for arguing strikes and balls…. They don’t want people arguing that all the time…. As a baseball player….. you know you are likely tossed….. High school through the pros…. It serves no purpose when you know the likely end result.I just hate how inconsistent these guys are. It’s maddening watching college sports. You challenge an ego and get tossed. No accountability.
Is that akin to arguing a bad spot in football? What’s the difference?
Exactly. As long as you don't delay the game or use words you shouldn't, there shouldn't be a penalty for complaining about calls. Literally every single call in football is argued and no one cares.I just hate how inconsistent these guys are. It’s maddening watching college sports. You challenge an ego and get tossed. No accountability.

They don’t want you stalling the game on a call that’s not reversible…. That’s the way it is called from high school up…. They may let you say a couple things but not much at all…. It serves no purpose.Oh. Ya that's just stupid. Even in football you can't do that. But the general point is that arguing calls shouldn't be an ejectable offense.
Football refs are nowhere near as soft as other sports. In High School I wrestled, I said something to a ref and got an unsportsmanlike called on me, when I told our coach what I said, he laughed and just said, ive heard worse on the sidelines on Friday night.Coaches do in football all the time though. We have the great Butch and Heupel GIF’s.
