Hate speech

It is maddening that we never took advantage. But that’s what Derek Dooley and Butch Jones will get you I suppose. Remain convinced we could’ve run off six straight from 2012-2017 with better coaching.
That’s what’s been so frustrating. Alabama has been on another planet from us during this time, we’ve only had two competitive games with them since Saban arrived. I’ve just become inured to losing to them.

Florida, on the other hand, has been every bit as mediocre to poor as we have been for most of the last dozen years and we should have won our share, but we routinely screw it up in various ways. Just maddening.

Pitts are very good dogs. They are big sweethearts, but have gotten a horrible reputation because of idiots who train them to be dangerous. Kind of like guns in that way. If you use a pittbull for violence, they will be violent. If you use them the right way and give them love and train them to be sweet boys and good girls then that is what they will be. All in how they are treated.

No, it's not because you're being salty. It's because you're acting like a Karen and are a grown man throwing a toddler tantrum over golfers not doing what you want them to do.

And you want them to rot in hell for it... the philospher and poet Morgan Wallen once said, "I don't think Jesus done it that way."
When did I say "rot in hell"?

You don’t have to play PGA Tour events to qualify for majors. It’s based off world rankings so if the LIV events allow them to earn world ranking points it doesn’t matter where they earn them.
Do you really think these dudes are going to earn enough rankings points to qualify playing this mickey mouse 💩

Pit Bulls are like that loose cannon friend of yours. Sure, they can seem nice and normal most of the time, but as soon as someone looks at him the wrong way he sees red. He loses all rational behavior and before you know it you’re in a bar room brawl and he’s punching you in the back of the head. Not the best trait for a dog.

good preview on 247:

Ball State thrived during the pandemic-impacted 2020 season, breaking through to notch its first Mid-American Conference title since 1996, by winning four one-score games and beating Buffalo in the conference championship game. The program’s first-ever bowl victory followed against unbeaten San Jose State in the Arizona Bowl. The Cardinals took a step back in 2021, though, losing four of its final six regular-season games before being crushed by Georgia State in the Camellia Bowl to finish 6-7.
The Cardinals finished No. 103 in ESPN’s Football Power Index and No. 107 in the SP+, which had them at No. 86 in the preseason. They weren’t particularly good on offense (109th in yards, 94th in scoring) or particularly great on defense (92nd in yards, 84th in scoring), and four of Ball State’s defeats were by 20-plus points, including the 44-13 defeat at Penn State in the team’s lone game against Power Five opposition. Ball State is 0-7 all-time against SEC opponents, most recently losing 56-23 at Texas A&M in 2015.
Nevertheless, head coach Mike Neu has done well at his alma mater, compiling a 28-41 overall record and 17-29 mark in the MAC. It doesn't look great, but this has been a slow build for the former Ball State quarterback, who took over after Pete Lembo’s tenure peaked with 9-4 and 10-3 seasons in 2012 and 2013 and ended after a 3-9 year in 2015. Only two SEC coaches (Nick Saban and Mark Stoops) have been at their current stops as long as Neu, whose first season in Muncie was 2016.
Quarterback Drew Plitt was a three-year starter who accounted for 21 touchdowns and was the MVP of the MAC Championship Game and Arizona Bowl in 2020 before passing for 2,541 yards on 6.2 yards per attempt with throwing 18 touchdowns and six interceptions in 2021. He left with the third-most career passing yards (9,051) and touchdowns (68) in Ball State history. John Paddock is likely to take over as Ball State’s starting quarterback having been Plitt’s backup for the past three seasons. He’s played in just five career games and has only 34 career pass attempts, but certainly will be familiar with the offense. He is the only quarterback on the roster to have played in a college game.
The production losses are more sweeping for Ball State’s defense. Gone are two starters on the defensive line, top inside linebacker and All-MAC selection Jaylin Thomas (team-best 113 tackles, fifth-most in the MAC, plus seven tackles for loss, four interceptions and three pass breakups) and top outside linebacker Christian Albright (65 tackles, six tackles for loss, five hurries, 2.5 sacks). The secondary loses both starting safeties in All-MAC first-teamer Bryce Cosby (109 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles in 2021) and Brett Anderson II (227 tackles in 56 career games) and top cornerback J.T. Wahee (66 tackles, seven pass breakups, 5.5 tackles for loss in 2021).
Ball State defensively last season was solid at home (20.5 ppg allowed), but gave up 35 points away from Muncie and to non-conference opponents. The Cardinals did generate 19 takeaways, including 15 interceptions from its veteran-laden secondary, but they ranked in the bottom half of the MAC in sacks and tackles for loss and middle of the pack on third downs.

For good measure, Ball State also has to replace All-MAC punter Nathan Snyder and both kickers, including Jacob Lewis who transferred to Minnesota.

FIRST QUARTER BOIZ!! MOUNT UP!!

Been bitten far more often by little dogs than big ones. The problem is with the big dog it only needs to happen once.

Have had multiple GSDs. Much like other scary large breeds, don't think the issue is so much breed temperament as it is the cost of failure. A Pom isn't going to kill you when it snaps at you. Which it will. Because Poms.

Lots of Vol fans “had a feeling” about Meyer, Muschamp, McElwain, and Mullen, and we went 0-fer against 3 and needed a miraculous second half comeback to beat the other one 1 time. Believe it when I see it etc.
If we don’t beat them, I hope everyone else does. Bring me all the bad FL news.
