But there's a correct way to do it. Go build a playground for a local community and have a photo op. Go read to some kids at a school and have a photo op. Don't post up on a random individual and dunk on him without his consent in the hardest time in his life.

I want to see a tour event where each player puts up $1 million of their OWN money……and play for it all! He!!……a skins game with their own cash.

THAT would be worth the price of admission.

Great answer and I would love that ! But as much as they like to publicize, in my example, here’s how it would work. Players would get 3/4 of the money they put in, charity would get the other 1/4, and “The Tour” would get the $5M.

I’ve been around long enough to see both sides. There are things I agree with in support of “The Tour” and ther are things I agree with that support another league. I really hate the thought thst I’ll never get to see A-game Rory vs A-game DJ. I want a compromise.

Edit to add. Verizon and AT&T are both successful, why can’t we have competition in golf?

How does pulling big names from weekly tour stops tbat pump.millions into local charities and businesses hurt the PGA and European Tours...really? The competition is on the weekend between the best players, not this stupid-ass gimmicky, , money grubbing, pathetic f'n garbage.
