Gun control debate (merged)

OK
Go shame fat visitors and patients that walk into UTMC and tell them to eat a salad.
Obese people are told by their doctors everyday to eat healthy and exercise. And not to smoke or use drugs or drink excessive amount of alcohol. This isn’t a new thing

Please be consistent with your shaming. Now go park yourself at flag circle and shame away Officer Fife.

Unconstitutional!

Purchase age raised to 21 for semiautomatic rifles and shotguns exceeding 5 round capacity as well as all handguns, 18 for non semiautomatic rifles and shotguns and semiautomatic rifles and shotguns limited to 5 round capacity.

Capacity of all guns limited to 10 rounds.

Further limits on bump stocks.

Ghost guns made illegal (exception for guns manufactured prior to 1968).

No unserialized components or modifications. WTF?

No buying guns for other people (exception for eligible family members).

House panel advances package of new gun bills after latest mass shootings jolt nation

I would call the dip user disgusting and gross
I would call the cigarette user gross and smelly and a moron
I would call someone who can’t cope without drinking daily pathetic
Again not hypocritical at all. As you said
You say you would but it's doubtful that you do outside of a message board. Know any doctors that drink? Cops? Paramedics?

We have the most guns per capita by far and the most mass shootings by far. Is it really so hard to see?

Remember when I asked you how your history knowledge was ? Start in the 90s and go back , now tell us again about our guns / mass shootings / availably to firearms to the populations . If anything , history suggests that the more reactions that we have applied to firearms to try and regulate them , the more mass shootings that have occurred .

Are we even implementing the laws already on the books? More laws on top of existing laws won't do any good. Never have, never will.

Drinks occasionally? yes. Alcoholics? Not very many. Do I think that they are weak if they do? yes. I also know a lot of older officers that are obese and smoke and I think they are idiotic slobs for doing so too
Your goalposts were never set at being an alcoholic. You simply said has a drink every night

Agreed the fascinating thing to me is we aren’t talking about some lost and forgotten ancient history . This crazy phenomenon started in recent memory .

well in fairness I’m not with everyone of our 1000 plus doctors every night but I do know the 3-4 who are alcoholics because we keep files on them
