You also DocI am sorry for your loss. I totally agree with your sentiment. In a one year period, we lost a 20 year old dog, a 15.5 year old and a 16.5 year old. We lost a 15 year old cat too.
It shook me to my core. We had all but the 20 year old their entire lives. We had her for 12+ years. The unlimited love that they showed was an integral part of our family.
Prayers for your loss.![]()
And we already jumped from 100th-110th in most defensive rankings in 2020 to top 40-55...in ONE YEAR.Kind of crazy to think under Heupel we’re gonna land the kind of defensive players we all thought would line up to play for Pruitt.
Hey guys really need your prayers!!!! My 6 year old nephew who lives in Lexington Kentucky was diagnosed with brain cancer roughly two months ago and after his first three cycles of chemotherapy the tumor doubled in size, from what they could not remove with surgery sadly! He will headed to Cincinnati children hospital for combination chemotherapy and radiation.
With that being said he is a huge basketball fan and is also a UK fan! My buddy played ball with Coach Calipari at UNC Wilmington and reached out to him today per my request and asked for some signed things like jersey and basketball and within a minute Coach responded He said, I am on it ,consider it done! So next time you all and me say this is the biggest dirt bag in college ball, remember this story, most are happy with the life GOD chose for them and deep down have hearts! Thank You Coach Cal and thank all of Volnation for your prayers! Life can be very unfair!
-VQOne interesting note is that freshman Cam Miller is going to get a look at safety. He is going to begin the summer working out with that group as they look for the best home for the athlete who played safety, receiver and some running back in high school.
-VQAthletics director Danny White let the cat out of the bag on Thursday with his tweet about how he was going to reinstall the V-O-L-S letters in Neyland Stadium. White and his team looked at the north end as well as the south end.
White himself even did research on them, when they were white letters with orange backdrops. When they were orange letters on white panels, there was even a time they had a line under the letter itself. White spoke with a good number of people about them and did a bit of a straw poll and the orange blocks with white letters were most discussed. Now with the creation of LED lights and all the new light shows game management will have plenty of control in terms of how they can be used pregame with the light show, after scores, etc.
After deciding on a style, the question was where would they go. You can’t put them in full size on top of the Jumbotron and with the lit Neyland Stadium and power T at the top of the south end zone board that made no sense. There was talk of the north end but they weren’t going to fit well with the way the new Jumbotron is woven into the upper deck. So the South end made the most sense and it was always their original home. So White and his team came up with doing a set on each side of the Jumbotron.
Give Danny White credit for listening. I was sitting next to him at the Big Orange Countdown pregame show when Jayson Swain told him about the letters during a commercial break. Swain told White that fans would love to have them back. White listened and researched it. He also brought out a set of letters to Gate 21 for people to have their picture made.
Vol doc glad you responded, they will be doing something called Proton therapy, going to wear the little guy out any thoughts???
