A) those laws and regulations are already in placeI just support having rational and reasonable laws and regulations in place that make it harder for "legally" purchased guns to illegally make their way into the hands of criminals, and place limits on the destructive capabilities.
We will be there to consfisgate Ktown-Vol’s phone within the hour. The founders clearly didn’t anticipate that when drafting the first amendmentusing this logic the 1A only applies to yelling in the town square and pamphlets - all electronic forms of communication don't count since they weren't being used then.
Here are a few ideas that could actually work:
Get fathers back into the households of these hardest hit areas.
Stop preaching woke culture and CRT and reinstall Biblical morality to the instruction of our youth.
Actually make a concerted effort to address mental health
Actively campaign to dissuade people from spending their entire lives on social media, known to increase risks for depression, isolation, and anxiety.
Make schools hard targets, with locked doors and an armed officer at each. From what I understand, this instance had neither.
Specifics please. Specifics or you are just wasting your own and everyone else‘s time.Whoever said I had a problem with relatively-affluent white (not sure why you felt adding white as a qualifier was necessary) males buying guns?
I don't care if you gun lovers have 50....it's kind of amusing.

It seemed you actually have been arguing ownership level is the prime variable. BTW, for some reason my question back to you did not pick up your response on 30 rnds/minute. I had asked about a gun able to do 15 rounds per minute on target at 300 yards: should it be banned? You will always find the highest rates where you find the highest concentration of economically and socially disadvantaged.
There is no other variable that even comes close. I've said that all along.
I wonder if Luth has ever seen videos of shooters knocking down targets in less than 1 second per shot with revolvers and speedloaders. It seemed you actually have been arguing ownership level is the prime variable. You were not really clear about the 30 round/minute gun. You responded somewhat nebulously that was around the limit you had in mind for a ban, so which is it ban or no ban? If not banning that gun, no need to answer the 15 round question, but perhaps you could define where that limit is?
Don’t expect definions from supporters of the Party That give us the President who famously asked what the definition of „is“ is or Who gave us a Supreme Court Justice who couldn’t define what a woman is. Definitions are anathema to the left because they put boundaries and limits on a process. The left wants limitless authority. The will shy away from anything resembling a limit. It seemed you actually have been arguing ownership level is the prime variable. And you have yet to identify how guns are more destructive today than they were 40/60/80 years ago. Or how they are more available.Whoever said I had a problem with relatively-affluent white (not sure why you felt adding white as a qualifier was necessary) males buying guns?

Just for the sake of argument I would drop the bible aspect. And yeah I find it ridiculous that these schools dont even lock their doors. At my school you could only get in the front doors without an alarm going off thru a locked door. Here are a few ideas that could actually work:

Stop confusing preadolescents with gender dysphoria BS

Agree--stop focusing on the how and focus on the why! How? Using what method, specifically?
Which denomination or sect of Christianity will provide the lens of clarity for said Biblical morality?
Yes, yes, yes, yes. We've got to destigmatize seeking help, and make it easier and more affordable to obtain help.
Also multiple yeses to this.
This is what blows my mind. Even the rural Mississippi and West Virginia schools I've visited had these in place. I'd love to hear what their school board and Central office staff have to say about this oversight.
I'm in no position to set that limit. I wear my ignorance of guns as a badge of honor. It seemed you actually have been arguing ownership level is the prime variable. They are more available because there are 400 million in circulation and 20 million more are added each year. And you have yet to identify how guns are more destructive today than they were 40/60/80 years ago. Or how they are more available.
Are you trying to prove my point?
Of course there is a correlation, and a pretty strong one to boot.
Good work. If you could link the two sources you used it would be even better. So is it your conclusion that there is no correlation between gun ownership and homicide rates?
Read what you just posted right here and juxtapose that to what is developing and emerging about the police response in Texas.
