Why haven’t they already? And frankly grain is probably a more leverageable commodity than their oil. The EU just announced a massive spending plan to eliminate the need for Russian energy but that will take time. The same will happen with Russian grain but that’s probably harder to backfill right now.Where do you think it will be when Russia demands Rubles for other commodities like grain?
But it will eventually get replaced as the world is collectively turning their back on Russia for trade or critical resources. It’s just going to take more than the three months to date.
