So, the sophs are taking the first two starts, and at least one of the two freshmen starters are being held in reserve even before we clinch. The freshmen haven't been as sharp as they were earlier, they've pitched a lot of innings, and looks like they may be hitting a little wall. The sophomores have pitched less and are now being asked to pitch more. Each of the freshmen have the possibility of throwing a few innings in releif in the first two games, and if not used, could piggyback in Sunday's start. It all makes sense to me.

Look, I’m secure enough in my own skin that I don’t need credit for calling this ahead of time <I’m a damn genius for seeing this last week and y’all should worship me on this board> and I’m fine if y’all just wanna give credit to txbo <nobody likes that guy and he’s dumber than a bag of hammers>. I’ve posted comments on game threads but must have missed some of the negative comments. I don’t mind someone stating an opinion as that is part of sports and life in general. But @ the end of the day these players are young men chasing a dream while going to class, studying and community service.

This team is special and the game threads got me interested in college baseball a few yrs ago. Add in the fact that my son is a freshman on the Hill and he kneels some of the players.

Hope so. Classes are over and exams begin soon so great way for the students to blow off some steam if they can get into game. Students had to get in like three hrs early a couple weeks ago. I think it was the Florida series. I felt bad for my son and his friends as they showed up but turned away.

At the end of the day, this is the most damn fun I’ve ever had watching Tennessee baseball! I just want to enjoy it and take it all in, no matter the final outcome. I don’t care if someone strikes out, or gives up a homerun, or even if we lose. I’m having fun watching these baseVols have fun and I’m having a blast, watching CTV, build a baseball program.
