Georgia is a good team with good starters, a dynamite ace in Jonathan Cannon, and a veteran lineup. I expect another dogfight (no pun intended) this weekend, but I think our guys will be ready to compete. I hope they have better plate discipline and play like themselves again.

I thought our hitters looked much more centered vs Bellarmine. They took many fewer swings at obviously bad pitches, and took their pitchers deeper into counts. Just fewer 0-2 counts and many more hitter's counts. Plate discipline seemed to be higher last night than at Kentucky.

They were paving I-75 in between the Loudon and Lenoir City exits on the way back to Chattanooga tonight and it was down to one lane for a pretty good bit. Hopefully they don’t have any issues and get it done in a timely manner or else there will be a lot more traffic backed up in the morning, and possibly into the weekend.

Thanks for the heads up. I like to take 411 from the ATL and will definitely be routing that way tomorrow morning. 👍

Having lived in the ATL area for over 15 years, I can attest that there’s not too many things more annoying than grown men barking like dogs. Taking the series would be great, but a sweep would be outstanding! Go Vols!

it should be a great series! Speaking of NegaVols, I’m going to follow Preacherman’s advice and stay away from the thread during the game. I‘m fine with noobs but get tired of some of the extreme negativity and shots at the players. I guess it shouldn’t bother me but admittedly it does. Looking forward to chiming in pre and post game. It’s going to be a heck of a series!
