Incidentally, I just found out over the past few days that the lend-lease program that the US offered to Britain and the USSR in WWII amounted to both countries not being able to pay back those loans until around 204 or 2005. How in the world does any reasonable person expect a country like Ukraine to be straddled with that kind of debt? The West loves placing debt on these small countries with either IMF or World Bank loans, or "infrastructure projects" that is talked about in "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" or in this case military lend-lease agreements.

John McCain even said Ukraine needed IMF loans back in 2013-14. I believe this is much what this conflict originally revolved around.
