RIP Twitter

I understand all of that.
Like pretty much everything else, it is not black and white - there are plenty of shades of gray.
If someone is promoting a known lie that is harmful to individuals within a society, it is perfectly reasonable for society to limit the person's ability to spread those lies.

so much to unpack.

"harmful to individuals within a society" wonderfully vague - no definition of harm, no assessment of how many individuals. classic

"reasonable for society to limit" more wonderful vagueness - limit could mean anything

So when Fauci told people masks do not work it was a known lie (which he openly admitted later). Assuming more masking would have prevented some Covid cases at the early stages of the pandemic, Fauci's known lie was harmful to individuals within society.

Should society have limited Fauci's ability to spread that lie?

Before I start posting (NUMEROUS!) links in response to your request for evidence, I would first like to get one answer from you in the abstract :

QUESTION :

Would you consider a person to be crazy if they honestly believe that the lives of all creatures great and small, past and present, to be nothing but a computer simulation?
Yes but why do I care if said person tweets or posts about it.

Like that racism is systemic and is the cause of every POC’s problems and that “homophobic” people and Nazis are literally all over waiting to murder people? That kind of known lie?

No. Customizing your social media account to suit your own individual needs and interests, doesn't make the platform from which your social media account belongs, an echo chamber.
Customizing as in blocking those you don’t agree with, reporting content that offends doesn’t qualify as creating your own echo chamber?

Yes it is currently being focused on in Texas i believe...our local head beta BB85 tried to say it was because of the race of the characters, but one I replied with the real reason he moved on...here in FL there is a group of MOMs that have gotteb smut like this taken out of elementary schools
Good, it is smut and It doesn’t surprise me BB misconstrued the reason for removal.

An opinion that is objectively false is not an opinion but a lie.
Opinions are fine.
So if I say „cloth masks are not very effective in Stopping the transmission of covid“ (not necessarily saying that but makes a good example) have I Just expressed an opinion which can be objectively judged as either truth or lie? Before you answer, realize that my assertion of course doesn’t define „very good“. Maybe I mean 33%, maybe 50, maybe 90. so how do the fact checkers at Twitter determine if I am lying or not? Note that they censored thousands upon thousands of Tweets making this same claim.
