War in Ukraine

Or surrender and live to fight another day. There is nothing to be gained by being a martyr for Zelensky and Biden. The West just want to use the Ukrainians as fodder to try and grind down or weaken Russia... even if it means spilling ever drop of Ukrainian blood in the process.

It never even needed to get to the point of surrendering or a war. If Ukraine would have just diplomatically worked with their neighbor, this never would have had to happen. They didn't choose diplomacy, so Russia opted for a more forceful form of diplomacy.

Russia has barely been involved in Transnistria. Since Transnistria has declared independence Moldova has left them alone. I suggest reading up on your history and geography some more.

Barely been involved? The only reason it survived has been Russian assistance and support. The Russians basically turned over the arms and munitions depot in the region to the separatist forces during the war which allowed them to defeat Moldovan forces in the war. Now they giving them free gas supplies.

No but they can learn from it and move on and better themselves.
I agree. But WTF does that have to do with your original comment? Since your grandchildren were raised in a good environment, why is it their peers' fault that they didn't have the same advantages? I get the whole "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" logic, but that has nothing to do with your comment.

Moldova has a very small active military force. They have left Transnistria alone for a long time now. Transnistria has their own government and currency. Moldova and Transnistria want no conflict with each other at this time. From my understanding Transnistria wanted to break away from Moldova prior to the fall of the USSR.

However, because a large amount of the Dniester River runs thru Transnistria it is of somewhat importance in this current conflict.

You’re banking on the Russians being smart. If they were they wouldn’t have invaded to start with. In fact this ploy could be a sign of desperation. If they start acting up here it will force Ukraine to dig in troops in the region that otherwise could be sent to the eastern front.
So again to be clear, the Russians are retreating to the west.

Is this going to be the new narrative?

"Ukraine has got the Russians running to Transnistria..."

They actually tried diplomacy with Minsk II, but the Ukrainians kept pounding Donbas and the US kept arming them in the process.

Time is on our side of the argument.

Again, have your fun and laughs right now. You better make it worth it while you can.
The really love getting their cheap shots and insults in when all some of us are doing is simply disagreeing with them or pointing out basic facts. It's amazing the behavior in here at times.

Tell that to the government of Transnistria. Which Moldova has no control over.

I don’t care what a rabble of separatists call themselves. Not one government recognized them as a legitimate nation.

Still is. Though I guess by your logic Germany should have been seen as the rightful leader of the countries they occupied during WW2.
