War in Ukraine

Nothing fake about this war. Maybe the reasons are whacked, but the war is real for those that are there.

Fake war. You globalist won't stop until all small business's are destroyed.

Rosenthal, one of Germany’s oldest porcelain manufacturers, has seen plenty of disruption in its 140-year history. But nothing has prepared it for this: the threat of a cut-off of natural gas that would bring production of its bone china plates, bowls and vases to an abrupt halt. “We can’t live without gas,” says Mads Ryder, Rosenthal’s chief executive. “We don’t have an alternative energy source.” The war in Ukraine is reordering the global energy landscape. Shocked by the devastation visited on Ukrainian cities by Russian bombs, the EU has imposed swingeing sanctions on Russian hydrocarbons. Coal is banned; oil could be next. Gas may also be on the agenda.

Globalist? Your talking points are lacking friend. My question for you is this: How many deaths are enough for you?

Decades of government declaring war on every thing from Chik fil A to other countries have led us to this.

One side passes something and the other raises hell.

It's all loser mentality.

America is infected with it.

If it doesn't change we'll end up like every other empire that lasted 200 years.

Disagree.

The CCP could nationalize all US assets on a whim.

I see this conflict as just some side event when the real game is with the CCP

You don't think that's just a matter of when? Anyone building plants in China or sending industrial technology to be used in China is a fool. Sure would be nice to see the money to cover nationalized or otherwise stolen losses pulled out of globalist CEO pockets.

No they could not. They would literally f themselves worse

Only if we develop an actual plan for getting off the China addiction, and that doesn't seem to be happening. The current China lockdowns may shock our system again; but when things eventually calm down, all the supply chain lessons will evaporate, and we'll still be dependent on China for things we can't do without.

I never insinuated they were dumb. I have never insinuated that they were even wrong in most of their assertions and wonderings. What I have asserted is that they were not omnipotent. There is a difference between referring back to the founder’s original intentions for guidance and using their words to forego your own critical thinking that needs applied to today’s context. I think we tend to do this as a majority Christian country because it’s ingrained into Christian culture that defaulting to the founder’s words in all instances is standard practice… but that’s just my personal theory.

Pretending that we can read the minds of men that have been dead for a quarter millennia, and that we know for fact that they wouldn’t think any differently in today’s context is a fool’s errands.

If I read too much into your emphasis of drawing on their time and personal experience, then my error.

That no one is omnipotent is assumed, but that they are seen as deity in the history of man and his governance is understandable. I think it likely some of them would take stock of American blood spilt round the earth and probably come to much the same conclusion that alliance entanglements have produced what they warned. Others doubtless would have viewed our plunge into two world wars as necessary; they were happy to have France as ally. I could be convinced that any war not in direct defense of this country is folly.

We can read their writings explaining themselves. I think their evaluation of human nature is as fresh today as then, and it is the basis of our government.

You stated we have problems here to worry about.

We cannot fix said problems if we aid Ukraine?

We will fix them if we don’t aid Ukraine?
I think I made it clear when I said let France, Germany, and the UK be responsible for helping Ukraine if they want to. Plus how much aid have we given other countries over the years and they continue having problems.

Let's use 7 billion of our own money and ACTUALLY focus on fixing problems here at home. We don't need to be giving any other country money until our own country is fixed first.

Not sure what is so hard to understand about those statements.

What is clear, whether we give Ukraine aid or not is irrelevant to our financial situation. We will continue to spend money we don’t have either way. Discussing the Ukraine situation from the perspective of the US fiscal situation is pure BS.

Yup. Furthermore, is anyone here actually suggesting we give Ukraine 7 billion a week?

Reminds me of the ballsy helicopter attack a few weeks ago, accept that one was successful, this one not so much.

Now it's the "globalists", you are fitting right in with the other three stooges. It can't just be a war most European nations didn't believe would happen and have been ill prepared to handle. Now, they are forced to take harsh measures they aren't capable of handling. That's Europe's problem for relying too heavily on Russian oil and gas. That doesn't excuse Russia's actions in Ukraine or make their reasons any less imaginary. I would much rather send weapons than soldiers to a nation willing to fight.

Why should we give money to Ukraine?

Who will that money go to?

Can we ensure it does not get into the hands of their oligarchs?

We all know it warms your heart to see Ukrainians killed...."I want them to surrender and succumb to Russian authority, this is all NATO's fault for arming them" That is literally how stupid you sound
