Why does everyone think SC is going to be that good? Just adding Rattler? Don't get it...

Rattler helps but imo it's people just looking at their W/L record/improvement last year without digging too much.


I mean...they had these wins while going 7-6 (6-6 regular season)

1 pt over Vandy
3 pts over East Carolina
9 pts over Troy
4 pts over falling apart Auburn

They weren't far from missing a bowl and having a host of embarrassing losses


Meanwhile we went 7-6, but while wrecking opponents in every win we had minus the UK game. 3 atrocious calls from a 10 win season.

They even gave up more points on the season than they scored lol (-18)

Meanwhile we were +133 points on the year...

For the golfers, I highly recommend watching the new 30/30 about Greg Norman. Really well done and big respect for Norman to revisit some of those painful losses.

He was my all-time favorite golfer. I was following his group at the Masters when he puked the 6 shot lead and lost to Faldo. It was really hard to watch. He's definitely had some bad luck on those hallowed grounds.

To be fair, the probabilities of the spreads make it out to be predicting an ~8-4 season, with 7-5 2nd most likely, 9-3 next in line.

But yeah I'd take 8-4 without much of a complaint myself, especially if the others were competitive.

Have y’all seen the movie “Nobody “ with the lead actor from Better Call Saul? It’s on HBOmax. I really enjoyed it. Older guy, mild mannered until he gets his buttons pushed. Then lots of mayhem ensues. Lots of dark comedy too…don’t want to ruin the plot or storyline.

Yeah and I still think the Ole Miss and Purdue game were some of the most blatantly missed calls I've seen in a long time. They were definitely trying to protect Ole Miss as an SEC team that could make a NY6 Bowl.
