I think that they already shot down the potential changes to make players sit out for injury stoppage.
Also, that article is strange because the Kenny Pickett example everyone went crazy about was when he faked a slide and kept running for a TD after the defense pulled up. That's not an injury situation, he just created the impression that he was giving himself up and then didn't. They've already ruled on that.
"Reporting and investigation process" reads more like a complaint that you can file after a game than a real-time change.
Edit: More from the articles linked. Looks like a step in the right direction, but nothing that will help us during games. Just a reporting process to complain afterwards and hope it helps the next team.
Can't wait to see the SEC and our conference rivals really lay into themselves to preserve the dignity of the game. I'm sure our out of conference opponents will take this very seriously as well.
