Discerning between real and fake injuries is a non starter and not a real solution. The NCAA is not going to put itself in the position to create a PR nightmare where they tell an injured kid he isn't really injured. I can see it now. Every time a player goes down the other team gets to send their training staff out there and put him through a physical and a lie detector test.

This could be fixed with a simple substitution rule. Disappointing.

Also, that article is strange because the Kenny Pickett example everyone went crazy about was when he faked a slide and kept running for a TD after the defense pulled up. That's not an injury situation, he just created the impression that he was giving himself up and then didn't. They've already ruled on that.

"Reporting and investigation process" reads more like a complaint that you can file after a game than a real-time change.

Edit: More from the articles linked. Looks like a step in the right direction, but nothing that will help us during games. Just a reporting process to complain afterwards and hope it helps the next team.



Can't wait to see the SEC and our conference rivals really lay into themselves to preserve the dignity of the game. I'm sure our out of conference opponents will take this very seriously as well.

I think they should make the player miss at the very least the entire series.

Yep, I was going to call bullshlt because I read it as "Wordle" at first...then I realized it was Worldle.

Have y’all seen the movie “Nobody “ with the lead actor from Better Call Saul? It’s on HBOmax. I really enjoyed it. Older guy, mild mannered until he gets his buttons pushed. Then lots of mayhem ensues. Lots of dark comedy too…don’t want to ruin the plot or storyline.
