Oil might just as well be poured into one big pot unless it's produced and used domestically ... and then the price is still going to reflect the global price.

Putin will simply disappear.

Then Russia will retreat from most or all of Ukraine and basically say nothing.

I took the meme as a dig at Germany which I felt was unwarranted given the news that Germany was moving in that direction. I was not aware to whom I was being condescending and i apologize for any unintended offense I caused. I look out for my Deutsche Katzen (especially Leopards) ever since my Dad brought me my first 1/35 Leopard I Kit over 40 years ago. (And my brother bought me my first 1/48 Tiger I almost 50 years ago)

Losing European buyers hurts Russia significantly. Especially in terms of influence, which they are incredibly dependent on.

The Kremlin will of course say they’ll be fine, then start threatening to cut off all oil and gas right away to try and intimidate the Germans.

This war is far from over. I doubt you see any more big or sudden rushes like they did towards Kiev, instead they will start grinding.

I think the local resistance was too much and they had to change strategies to deal with the locals.

It seems to me that they very poorly planned how many men to commit + how much materiel to dump into the offensive. To be honest, I think this will just be Winter War II by the end of it all.
