We can agree to disagree on a lot of things...but surely we can all agree lighting $3.4B on fire in the form of Ukrainian support, when our Country has been wrecked financially by Covid the last couple years, is ludicrous...
The fact many in the GOP support this, will be the reason they don't take massive amounts of seats in November. This isn't America First.

LMAO Iām shocked you would make such a false and disingenuous statementOffff course you misinterpret the Budapest Memorandum. We are under no obligation. That is ridiculous.
If only we hadnāt provided guarantees in the Budapest Memorandum including up thru lethal aidā¦
BTW your Mother Russia signed that too and has broken it at least three times now.
Ohh boy, the dog has found a new toy to play with. Now we get to debate the nuclear weapons Ukraine never had that they somehow then gave up to which they would get make believe security obligations. Good Lord.
Heās scrurried back to troll base for new orders.Apparently, the "Zelensky is a midget cokehead" troll wasn't working so they've been instructed to pivot.

Regardless of whether the Ukraine had nukes or not (I can't imagine the Soviet government didn't have nukes there when it toppled), the Russians signed off on the agreement. Seems pretty stupid to give concessions for something you are not actually getting. As I understand it, the Russian propaganda probably relies on the fact that Ukraine had the weapons, but no launch codes or whatever operational authority they needed to launch them.Heās scrurried back to troll base for new orders.
Troll Major! Theyāve invoked the Budapest agreement which the prior spineless āleadersā of glorious Mother Russia signed! What do we do now?!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Better go get the latest talking points from Putin I canāt wait to hear your spin on this![]()
Oh Ukraine definitely had nukes. In fact they came to Oak Ridge to be deconstructed once the agreement was executed. The day after the USSR broke up Ukraine was the third most powerful nuke arsenal on the planet I believe. What is debated is how much ability Ukraine would have had to employ them in that inherited state but they absolutely existed.Regardless of whether the Ukraine had nukes or not (I can't imagine the Soviet government didn't have nukes there when it toppled), the Russians signed off on the agreement. Got your talking points huh? Well too bad they suck. Ukraine had the nukes. They were theirs. Period. That isnāt event debatable. The entity the owned them before didnāt exist anymore. However the new entity that was formed did sign the agreement to guarantee Ukraineās safety. That is fact. And all you can do is try to sell why it was ok for them to break that agreement. And nobody other than you specific Three Stooges will buy it, Larry. No spin needed. Ukraine never had nukes to give up. They were Soviet nukes that were still under Soviet control at that time. Ukraine had no way to use them, maintain them, and had no infrastructure or money to fund the needed infrastructure, etc. Had Ukraine tried to gain control of them, Russia would have quickly put an end to it. So this ridiculous notion that Ukraine "gave up nukes for security obligations" is a total misread of history.
